Friend, Please is a song off of Twenty One Pilots’ first album, titled Twenty One Pilots. Originating in Ohio, the group, consisting of singer/musician Tyler Joseph and percussionist Josh Dun, released this album in 2009. Named after the play “All my sons,” the group’s name is a reminder about the tough decisions between deciding to do what is right or do what is easy. Their songs consist of poems written by the members of the band. Twenty One Pilots does not fall under any specific music genre, as their songs include piano, ukulele, drums, guitars, rapping, and sometimes digital sounds. This two-person group has been on the billboard recently for their hit singles Stressed Out, Heathens, and Ride. Though not one of the most popular songs on the album, Friend, Please is still a very powerful song. This song’s instrumental part is, for the most part, digital.
