The history behind Time Warner began with two independent companies, Time Inc. and Warner Communications in the early 1920s. Henry Luce and Britton Haddon were the founders of Time in 1922 and Warner Brothers (Warner Bros.) was incorporated by brothers Harry, Abe, Jack, and Sam Warner, in the same year (Time Warner, 2015). The two companies joined and became Time Warner Inc. in the early 1990s. According to MarketLine, Time Warner, Inc. (Time Warner or “the company”) is one of the leading media and entertainment companies, offering cable networks, premium pay and basic tier television (2015). Time Warner has many different products and services. One component of Time Warner is Warner Bros which specializes in feature films, television (TV) programming production and distribution, video games development and distribution, home video products distribution, and content licensing. Another component of Time Warner is Turner which specializes in television broadcasting and program production, content licensing and distribution, and cable television news service. The final component of Time Warner is Home Box Office (HBO) which specializes in pay TV services, basic tier TV services, original programming distribution, and content licensing. The brands that are associated with Time Warner includes TBS, TNT, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, truTV, Boomerang, CNN, HLN, WB, HBO, Cinemax, Warner Bros. Time Warner exhibits this on a daily basis. They strive to do report and televised programs with the integrity that more companies should demonstrate. This is the company that will I feel I can rely on when it comes to displaying the truth. This company represents my passion and integrity that I show every day. A company like this can appreciated the dedication and hard work I would put forward in my job duties. It only feels right for me to be interested in a company that believes in transition and growth because that is exactly what they have done over the year. This company was started by two individuals and then later transformed in to this major conglomerate. I would consider it an honor and privileged to work for Time Warner. Before I started my Business degree, I knew I was going to work I Communications field and that was all I talk about. I could not think of any other company I wanted to work for. I spent many of my youth watch many of the televisions shows on the various networks associated with this company. I just knew it seem like the perfect place for me. I was so interested in the inner workings of this company, I would follow and news that was broadcasted about this company. I have been on 8 tours of Turner Broadcasting here in Atlanta. This company seems to have a place for everyone and I will fit right in
