As a child I always found the film Alice in Wonderland, directed by Tim Burton, to be the most relatable movie that matches me as a person. This movie shows how even as an adult you still have a child living in you. Most people grow up and forget what it is like to be a child again begin to believe the unimaginable and impossible. Being curious and adventurous. This film opening Scene begins with a garden party which turns out to be her engagement party for Alice and a pretentious titled man she does not wish to marry. When she must make the decision whether she should marry this man she sees a white rabbit in the bushes and chases after it. I love the original but I've always love Tim burton imagination for his movies so both are amazing. Really fun movie and that is why I love fantasy's. Others bore me and this kept me entertained. A bit too slow in the beginning but they had to set the story. The colors are so vibrant they jump out at you, in both 2D and 3D. Very good plot. I was half expecting another over the top Tim Burton story and his overdone(boring) horror plots and characters but this was a very pleaseant surpirse. I believe he was meant to make this movie and it shows what he can be capable of if he gets serious. Great casting and humorous moments intertwined helped make it very enjoyable. All actors did a great job but I have to say I was most impressed with the head of the Red Queen. The film had many awards given at the 83rd Academy Awards, Alice in Wonderland won Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design, and was also nominated for Best Visual Effects. I believe that the film did very good in these aspects. The art direction was very colorful and eye popping. The Costumes as well attracted the eyes and went very well with the movie. The visual effects was very colorful all throughout the movie and the lighting got darker at the appropriate
