Education is the world’s most powerful tool, but many people use it as an excuse to stop them from excelling in their careers. After getting college a college degree, many find a job but lose their drive to accomplish more or go higher up the ladder. They become so comfortable with their position that they don’t work towards a new goal. I don’t believe you can fully achieve any dream or become successful without drive. There is passion in every individual whether they use it to motivate themselves or not. In order to strive for your goals, you need to have three qualities, which are all attainable: ambition, common sense, and the right mentality.
A hustler could be defined in many ways, but according to Webster’s Dictionary, a hustler is most likely described as “an enterprising person determined to succeed; a go-getter”. A hustler is rarely found in time because although many have ambition, they don’t work towards their goals. Instead, their ambition is what helps them continue to work at their goal even after failing again and again. Hustlers are not found very often, but they are identified by their ability to work harder and smarter which allows them to flourish in their every day job or aspirations.

They have the ability to know what kind of ideas will be great in the public eye. However, the right mentality is also necessary when trying to accomplish a goal. Without the right frame of mind, it is hard to keep a positive outlook after failing a couple of times or it could cloud there judgment leading them to make excuses about why they should stop. Someone who will not stop at any measures to accomplish their goals and strive for more has a hustler’s way of thinking. They’ll continually work on themselves and their craft or

If someone wants to succeed in life and stay recognized by superiors, then he or she ought to appear hardworking. A person begins with setting goals. There are two categories, the first, “be” goals and the second, “do” goals. In other words, ask yourself, "What to be?" or "What to achieve?" Four categories of goals consist of wealth, health, relationships, and self-fulfillment which equal success. Working diligently to finish a task demonstrates how to live a successful life. Given these points, Thomas Edison, Helen Keller and Harriet Tubman, all exceptional achievers, found that prosperity undoubtedly comes along for everyone who perseveres.
If they are not motivated in putting their mind and time there is no point to force him or her to study in college. They will not study, but in turn, it will just be a waste of four years of time. It might seem that university is a good path for some people, but not for everyone. Some fields, require it and many occupations would be extremely difficult to have and function without it. What should be promoted nowadays should be either college or how to find a job suitable for you, but many argue that it should be not one or the other. The reason behind that is everyone is brainwashed that going to college comes before finding the perfect
“I was a true hustler - uneducated, unskilled at anything honorable, and I considered myself nervy and cunning enough to live by my wits, exploiting any prey that presented itself I would risk just about anything. Right now, in every big city ghetto, tens of thousands of yesterdays and today's school drop outs are keeping body and soul together by some form of hustling in the same way I did And they inevitably move into more and more, worse and worse, illegality and immorality. Full time hustlers never can relax to appraise what they are doing and where they are bound. As is the case in any jungle, the hustler's - every waking hour is lived with both the practical and the subconscious knowledge that if he ever relaxes, if he ever slows down, the other hungry, restless foxes, ferrets, wolves, and vultures out there with him won't hesitate to make him their prey. In chapter six: “The Hustler and the Hustled”, it discusses Sudhir’s endeavor in interviewing the community members on how they make a living. He found that many people perform various illegal activities to get by. These vary from innocent jobs like selling candies and illegally running a babysitting business in an apartment to more serious illegal jobs like prostitution and violence. The book calls this hustling. Hustling may be considered deviant in any other community, but in the Robert Taylor community, this is a normal way of survival. The Black Kings’ involvement in this is the regulation of everyone’s hustling business, whether it be beneficial or not to the hustlers. The Black Kings are considered positively deviant by many people who take advantage of them. They exploit the Black Kings’ want to not be arrested and want to do business in the area for their money. Such people use the money to help the community. For example, Autry, a club director at the Boys and Girls club, is one of those people who believe the Black Kings’ activities are beneficial to the community. One of the activities that he coordinates to lower teen violence is a midnight basketball league and each gang in the area has to pay a five thousand dollar buy-in and put together four teams of ten players (Venkatesh 100). Being an outsider to this community, Sudhir is puzzled by the concept of using gang money to fund a community activity, but that was the norm in the
...someone will be successful as an adult, college degree or not. Not to mention the obstacles that may get in our way through the course of years in us getting to the point of adulthood or the balls that on must juggle in their adult life. The teaching and learning that helps individuals to succeed, perhaps needs to come from parents and role models, as we are learning values, which begins to happen before we ever enter our years of formal education.
The desire to further education is essential because it expands the mind of a person. College is implemented to attend a school for four plus years and hope to get a job after graduation. Without higher education there would not be any scientist or engineers in the world to continue to make society run smoother. However, it’s actually more than that, it creates long term friendship and builds independence.
The term “gangster” or “mobster” was coined in the early 1900’s. At that time it was used to denote back alley thugs who used strong arm tactics to steal from or swindle individuals unlucky enough to come within their grasp. Far from the romanticized image they carry today, gangsters of the early 1900’s were regarded as crooks and felons, the scum of society that would never rise above alley way robberies. Then came the Prohibition. The way Billy Sunday described it reflect...
There is a thin line that exists between the depiction of a villain and a gangster that Hollywood has mastered walking on. While villains and gangsters may do many of the same things in movies, like stealing and killing, they each do them for different reasons. Villains enjoy crime because that is what gets them off; some may feel they are doing society a favor, like Uncle Charlie in Hitchcock’s Shadow of a Doubt, and others are more simply portrayed as naturally evil or mentally ill. But Gangsters are doing what they do for something American society can relate to—to make a living and, ultimately, get to the top.

“You will never know what you are doing until and unless you have done it.” ― Santosh Kalwar. (http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/tag/education?page=11) Throughout the 18 years I’ve lived on Earth, I have learned one thing. Life is nothing but trial and error. You can only learn by learning. You can only experience by experiencing. All my life I took something so vital for granted; pushing it away because I was afraid. I allowed myself to be held back by my trials. I let myself become my problems. I never took an open opportunity like this to better myself, until now. “The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.” ― Sydney J. Harris. (http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/tag/education?page=11) My education is my future; a second chance I thought I’d never get. And I’m never turning back. That is what my education means to me.
Lately there has been a serious local concern that has bothered me, and it’s the hustle. The hustle game has been worrying me for a while, with some music makers stopping, not many people wearing designer clothes, and lack of general swagger. Over time I have observed the downfall of the music makers in Stockton, with some just openly admitting that Stockton is the worst place to hustle. I have seen a decline of designer clothing, the ultimate way to flaunt the harvest of your hustling, with many people switching over to Street Wear instead because it’s what everyone else is doing. I have witnessed people lose their swagger over the course of time, with many of my dear friends not having the proper outfits for the sake of having money in their pockets.

“Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family” (Strong n.p.). Anywhere a person goes, there are people demanding that people have a certain level of education. This makes wanting to get into a certain profession hard to do. By going to schooling you can get yourself and education, but by no means necessary do you get an education by going to school. But the question lies in how you go about achieving both them, and increase in learning. There are times when you can get some school, but the education does not fully come. This could be from the lack of teachers, or the encouragement that you get. It also lies in how much enthusiasm that you put
With, knowledge acquired from school, anyone’s mind will expand, to hold in all that was learned from the years of teaching. While in school, one can obtain a great personality, by having the need for friendship with people who have a common interest. Thus, a personality is formed and impacted by relationships and events that occur during school. Being taught information for so long, people tend to become more enlightened to multiple subjects. Then knowing multiple subjects, such as but not limited to geography, sociology, psychology, engineering, accounting, and philosophy. Education provides all of this. they would have to be relentless to reach the level of a doctorate, which essentially means a specialist in a specific field. When it comes to being able to execute any task, growing into a productive member of society, and success in one’s life, education will always be no matter what be beneficial and important. It allows for business owners to improve their companies, and rocket scientists to build or design rockets for a paycheck. Therefore, everyone should agree that education is
