Nowadays, college students study in university and fight for their dreams. However, there is a condition that many of them do not know what they want to achieve. What they always do is to follow others’ steps and do what others did. For instance, many of the college students in India try to learn engineering in universities because engineer is a popular occupation with its decent salary. Even though many of them do not like that field of study, they are forced to learn by their parents. There is an Indian movie called Three Idiots criticizing the phenomenon aforementioned. The director of Three Idiots portrayed three so called fool students who follow their own dreams and achieve their goals after working hard. The main character, Rancho likes engineering but he does not like professor’s educational methods, which is only based on memorization. The other two characters Farhan and Raju are not interested in engineering, but they follow their parents’ perspectives to learn engineering initially, but then change their mind by Rancho and do what they actually want. I believe that this movie is a good movie for those college students who are forced to learn what they do not like. It not only shows the negative aspects of the stereotype ways of education, especially memorization, but also tells them the importance of being themselves rather than simply doing what others did.

Most importantly, this movie shows that students’ dreams should not be confined to getting decent-paid jobs. Instead, they should follow their own ambitions. By using the descriptions of the three so called idiots’ achievements, the director succeeds to show a theme that being yourself is more crucial than following others’ steps blindly. For the reasons above, Three Idiots can be considered as a good movie for college students.

Indeed, one can see how many things seemingly unrelated do affect a student’s ability to learn.

The story begins by informing the reader that the boy Ragged Dick is a honest boy who has solid morals, yet this directly goes against his actions as he steals the wallet and turns violent as he beats up another boy. I feel that there are very few failures within Bambara's “The Lesson” as the main story is solid and consistent throughout. In the end, both stories are driven my money which is attributed to success. My final thoughts are that money is not what drives success. I feel that money can make becoming successful an easier task; however, it is true perseverance which holds the most power. Ultimately, both stories express that an education is the most valuable asset for individuals to have as it can help them achieve bigger better things while ultimately allowing them to become financially well off, successful and blessed with opportunities.
Juror #1 originally thought that the boy was guilty. He was convinced that the evidence was concrete enough to convict the boy. He continued to think this until the jury voted the first time and saw that one of the jurors thought that the boy was innocent. Then throughout the movie, all of the jurors were slowly convinced that the boy was no guilty.
However, three ethical decisions that this learning will make after viewing the film is to always assist individual to the best of your ability, despite personal issues with loved ones or friends; next, always report crimes, no matter the consequence they may have; and last but not least, stand up for what’s right, even if it leads to misfortune. The pros of each of these decisions is peace within yourself. However, one of the cons is dealing with negative pressures. For example, when you report a crime, you may be summoned to court, and have to deal with the negative criticism.
One that is entering the counseling field will see this movie from a different perspective. It gives examples of what a counselor should and should not do. In the future, one may encounter a client like Antwone and must be prepared to help the client. The client should feel comfortable with the counselor. Positive results should come out of the counseling sessions.

In our education system, a professor will be given lecture for hours to hundreds of students in some large universities with expectation to increase their knowledge. At the end of the day, some of them will drop, some will finish their major with a low GPA, and others will graduate with a good grade, but a few knowledges remain in their memories. As a matter of fact, some people can be holding their PhD without be able to help their children at home with a basic homework in physics. The education system teaches them how to learn. Nowadays, we even have classes to learn how to learn strategies; as a result, our students become often as product “prisoners” of our education system because in the education system that transfer knowledge, students learn to a score good grade. If we assume that students who work just for grade are prisoners in Plato’s metaphor, their teachers and parents are prisoners as well. In the school system, some teachers don’t have any love for their career or for their students; therefore, students are going to dislike the study and work just for passing grade because of lack of dialogue between students and teachers. “We Are All Confident Idiots” is an engaging article that forces the reader to puzzle over important questions regarding self awareness, intelligence, ignorance, and the way we make decisions. Dunning effectively uses tone, ethos, and diction to inform readers of the dangers of making ignorant, misinformed decisions and not admitting to what one doesn’t know.
