After Zootopia released, plenty has been written about the various themes present in this movie. Among those film reviews, a common view shows that Zootopia is an important, pointed discussion about race and equality masquerading as a kid 's movie (Bushman, 2016). Zootopia,or a zoo utopia, is an exquisite tale, a bold fantasy of a better society. In this ideal world, discrimination can be eliminate by good characters such as friendship , justice and responsibility to eliminate. Everything we believed due to the stereotype are totally different in Zootopia. However, this ideal world is still not perfect—discrimination , stereotype, power struggle and political corruption are still exist. Zootopia is reflection of real society. All the characters and plot settings intend to jump out of people 's mindset and to create a conflict between ideality and reality—a lovely contrast. In Zootopia, we see bunny Judy throws off the shackles that the dual role “female” and “rabbit” gave to her; fox Nick becomes a loyal partners of Judy and helps Judy catch the bad guy; leopard Benjamin Clawhauser in the front desk gets rid of the image of masculine and acts more like people’s imagination of Gay (a stereotype); Assistant Mayor sheep Bellwether changes from a silly and sweet herbivore into a leader of criminal group; Mr.Big is a small rodent while sloth Flash drives super fast. The process of break through these prejudices and stereotypes is the most touching part in Zootopia. Zootopia committed to tell people that each individual in our society have different possibilities and can be different, no matter what race, grow, gender and age. No one should feel ashamed of the “difference”. Zootopia breaks our stereotype, inspires us to re-examine the way we viewing the world and encourages us to treat others with an open mind. Most time we are not aware of how stereotype influence on us, because those influences may exist in tiny details such as our tone, facial expression or even a pause. For example, in Zootopia, Judy screamed that “Wait. They 're all sloths?”, she also asked “you played cribbage with a weasel once?” and Nick’s joke to sheep Bellwether “You think when she goes to sleep she counts herself?”.You can see the leading character as a positive image, still has a lot of stereotypical thinking on other species. In the news conference, Judy declared that savage carnivores commit this crime due to their DNA, they may have innate aggressiveness. At this time, she changed from a bunny who yearns racial integration and hate discrimination into a perpetrator who against predators, even if she did not
