In the veldt by “Ray Bradbury,” the parents are to blame because they let the kids get too addicted to the technology. This story is about a family who let their kids get too addicted to their technology house that the kids get so addicted to a room called the nursery which is like a virtual room. Early in the story the kids did not come to diner becase they where to addictied to the nursery. The kids called in from the nursery witch is like vrecher realitey “but with out the head set” they said we may be a little late but after alittle while they called back and said they wont be at diner. “At dinner they ate alone” This proves that the kids are too addicted to the nursery that they would not even spend time with their parents. Later
in the story the parents are to blame for their own deaths. The parents thought that the nursery was to much for the kids and they turned it off and the kids asked to just trun it on for a couple minutes they did, then the kids cryed from the nursery and trincked the parents in to going in and locking it on them. "Why, they've locked it from the outside!” this proves that they would rather have their technology than their parents were, you going to turn off the nursery forever while the parents are locked in the nursery because they got mad at their parents for turning off the nursery. In conclusion, the story shows in that the parents are atfalled for there own deaths in “The Veldt” the parents let the kids get to addicted to the technology. Parents are not limiting technology time for their kids''. According to a CNN article titled “New screen time rules, by doctors, it states that “The academy recommends that for children 2 to 5 years of age, screen time should be limited to one hour per day. For kids ages 6 and older, parents can determine the restrictions for time spent using screen, as well as monitor the types of digital media their children use.” This proves that parents need to limit their kids' screen time. In the Veldt, The parents were letting the kids do what ever they wanted as long as they didn’t bother them and they had to let the parents do what they want or need to do. For example, the kids never came to diner. Parents need to be more involved in some of their kids' technology so the kids don’t make bad choices. Parents need to be more aware of their kids with social media. According to Debate.org“If parents are aloud to access their child's profile, then that personal stuff can be removed if the parents don't like what their kids are posting”. For example, the parents could add monitoring software to their kids phones. Also, parents should make their kids play outside for at least an hour a day. The parents did not know what the kids were doing the hole time the kids where in the nursery. Parents setting limits will solve the problem of using too much technology. In conclusion parents should have their kids join an activity to reduce the time on technology and thecnology addiction. Mabe if this hapens there will be more sports teams.
In “The Veldt” by Ray Bradbury, Lydia and George are parents “raising’’ Peter and Wendy in a smart house that can mostly do anything for them. The children are spoiled with technology and hardly communicate with their parents. The parents are forced to shut down the house in order for their children to communicate with them, but the children are furious with the decision. After George had turned off the house, the kids began to wish dark and gruesome insults if the house wasn’t turned back on. These insults pressured George to turn the house back on and the children praised him. After this, the kids ran into the nursery, which has changed to Hawaii, and stayed there all night. In the morning, George called Peter and Wendy to the kitchen for breakfast but there was no response. George called the kids again but no answer again. This began to worry George and he called out to Lydia. Once again there was no answer and George become even more worried. George ran into the nursery and found the three of them in Hawaii having breakfast. With this discovery, George was relieved and sat with his family for breakfast.

First, When Martha and Mrs. Peters arrive at the scene of the crime, they see that it is a very lonely place off the road. The house is in a hollow, with lone-some looking trees around it(1).Mr. Hale thinks that having a phone to communicate with rest of the world in such place will reduce loneliness although Mr. Wright does not want communication(2). Minnie lives a miserable life in this place. Martha cannot believe that this is what Minnie foster has turned into. She describes her rocker, and says: “ that rocker don’t look in the least like Minnie foster. The Minnie foster of twenty years before”(3). The rocker is a very old rocker with a faded color and few parts of it are missing. Also, Mrs. Hale thinks it is a torture for Minnie to wrestle with the stove year after year because that stove is in a very poor condition(8). The story is about two kids named Peter and Wendy and how they kill their parents because their parents shut down the nursery. The kids have a high tech nursery that can realistically show any scene the kids can think of. The kids are relying on mechanisms and machines for every single thing. The machines and mechanics seem so perfect and have no way of making any mistake.This can be shown on page 9, “We’ve been contemplating our mechanical for too long…” But because the parents are letting children doing everything with mechanics and machines, it makes the children think that the mechanics are there “real” parents. When Poppins arrives, the children are given an opportunity to rediscover their imagination. She takes them on multiple journeys such as going to a birthday celebration at the zoo where the animals wished Poppins a happy birthday, and they were even able to see a grown man float to the ceiling in laughter. When Jane and Michael come to Poppins for an explanation of what happened, she refuses to give them an answer and claims she was never there.
