The things I carry are weighed down by the heavy burdens of my life. Trying to be the ideal elder brother and role model accompanied by the responsibility of fulfilling my parents’ expectations has proven burdensome. But I am just an empty shell obligated to carry the heavy weight of my existence filled with pressure to become successful in life and be someone who made a difference in the world. I fear to leave the world as someone who is forgotten. This becomes the source of my determination to excel at everything I do in life whether it is sports or studies and drives me to achieve all my ambitions. Although I have expectations that I may not meet, my school shoulders the weight of my expectations by providing me with all the tools needed to succeed. My teachers, along with the notes and books that my backpack contains, provide me with support and supply me with an ever increasing amount of knowledge. All these selfless teachers spend their time to not only provide me with an education but make me a better individual overall.
