What is your most valuable personal possession? What does it reveal about you? Discuss. When it comes to this question, people could think of their families as the most valuable thing, however, the word "possession" changes completely the significance of the question. In the same way, people's answers show a lot about how they are, and what they consider important and valuable. The car, house, account balance, properties, and other monetary-related possessions are the common answers for people who think luxuries are the most valuable thing in life. However, I don't think in the same way as "common" people do. I particularly, do not consider luxury possessions as the most valuable thing in life. My most valuable personal possession is my naval blue, scrawled Bible, but why? this might be the question of many about my uncommon answer, as some people could consider my answer as absurd and irrational. Nevertheless, for me, my Bible is an essential object for my everyday. I strongly believe that the Bible is the most effective instructional book for any human being, in which a person can find any kind of instructions or tips related to many areas such as love, finances, how to govern a region or city, coordinate the logistics to undertake a project, etc. …show more content…

Many argue that the bible is out of date and unhelpful for humans today. This is not the case though. The bible is essentially the guidebook to leading a perfect and happy life, and just like you would need to read some sort of manual before constructing a product, so to should you read the bible for guidance on your own life. This is what Jehovah's Witnesses try their best to do, though it is not easy because all humans are imperfect.
The biblical worldview influences me in how I treat others on a daily basis in that I can always be kind and treat others respectfully the way that I want to be treated. I may not always know what a person is going through or has been through in their lives to make them do or say the wrong things but I can control how I respond to it. I want to live my life so that others look up to me and want to do the right things because they see how much of a difference it makes in my life.
Of all the tangible and intangible things that I carry with me, some of them might stay with me forever and others might not. These things have directly or indirectly helped me to overcome problems in difficult times. And due to that, these ‘things’ have framed to become a huge part of what I am now. My ring which grounds me to reality, my cellphone which provides a temporary getaway, my thoughts that shows me both sides of a radar and my memories that I will never forget. Sad memories that I have forgotten and the happy memories that I will always cherish. Therefore, I would just like to say that whatever you carry with you, material or immaterial, should not overbear your capacity and you should learn to let go of the unnecessary weight that you’ve been carrying.
Secondly, I would take the Bible as a covenant in my life. God gave the Bible for his people as a Covenant, in order to live a holy life according to Bible. Therefore, God’s children should read scripture daily to study what God’s commands and to apply in daily life. As a child of God I usually read the Bible daily for my personal spiritual growth.
The biblical narrative is one that is still going on to this day. The biblical narrative tells the story of God and how he reveals himself to us. Rhodes points out that “God comes to each through a historical event or series of events” (2). It is in this way that God reveals himself to us and this maintains the relevance of the biblical narrative in our lives. God reveals himself through formative stories in the bible such as Creation, Adam and Eve, the Fall of Man, The Flood, God’s Covenant with Noah, and the Tower of Babel. From the very beginning of the biblical narrative we see that God relates to us on a personal level. He created us, he formed us, he created the world in which we live, and he has been an active participant in the narrative since before it began.
My Kelty Redwing backpack is folded up in my closet. Cramped on a shelf next to a box of old textbooks and forgotten letters, my backpack, like me, would rather be elsewhere.
One’s personal possessions usually have value to them because they are something that a person can truly claim as his or her own. The most desirable and most valuable possession would naturally be love. With love some, but not all, desire material possessions. Last, everyone desires security to complete the last piece of the puzzle.
My love for reading and my books, shows there are unique children out there who still enjoy fundamentals outside of the classroom. The ashes from my first dog, heidi, hold a piece of me, the enjoyment I get from playing with her pups is undescribable, it’s almost as if she is still here with me afterall, we all have a playful side we need to show. Though there are many personal properties of mine, that can represent me as a person, but I choose these ones, the most thoughtful and meaningful items.
In the world we live in people value objects like they value God. Objects like ring, computer, books, mobile phone, guns and money for example. Well for me I personally value my bible, it is everything to me. As young girl growing up in this cruel world this book has been my guide and the light to my path when I am in need. There are some other valuable gadgets that I possess but the bible is the most important of them all.
When I was young, I listened to Bible Stories a lot. I had grown up hearing many of the stories out of order, and so I began reading the Bible. I wanted to put the events in chronological order in my own mind. After reading everything, from God saying “Let there be light” in the book of Genesis, to the story of the Resurrection in the New Testament, I felt a sense of completion and knowing. As time went on, I began exploring other texts.
My coat of arms features many symbols that are either representative of my interests and hobbies, or are just things that I think are cool. The quadrants on the coat of arms all represent my interests. The top left features a cartoon face, and symbolizes my love of cartoons, anime, comics, and manga. Its main color is gold, which is a symbol of generosity and elevation of the mind. The top right features the PC that I built, as well as my monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Although the bible contains numerous works of different people, it is still a work of God that helps our faith remain constant and grow, as everything written was under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. In some way, I was able to understand the value also of the other books, as before I did not really take interest of the other books included bible, aside from the likes of the Gospels, Genesis, Exodus, Psalms, and Proverbs. Nevertheless, I realized that the books are all part of the bible as each has a purpose to serve and stands as a testament to the infidelity of humanity, and of God’s unfailing love for
