Everyone has that motivator, the one that pushed them to better themselves. In the film Billy Elliot, directed by Stephen Daldry, the motivator is Ms. Wilkinson. She was the one that pushed Billy to be the best that he can be, she pushed him to follow his dreams and not let anything get in the way. She represented a mother just like the one that Billy had recently lost. The film is successful because the audience sees Mrs. Wilkinson not only as a motivator and a mother-like figure but also as the spark that started Billy Elliot’s dancing career.
Fred Wes states that one cannot actually “directly motivate another person” but can in fact create a motivational environment, in which a person themselves becomes motivated. This is exactly what Mrs. Wilkinson did for Billy Elliot; she set an environment where Billy was able to flourish. When Billy first notices the girls practicing ballet, he decides to join, and while many may say that ballet is for girls and judge boys for trying it, Mrs. Wilkinson did not say anything that may discourage him. In fact she does the opposite, upon seeing the interest in the dancing, she asks him to join in. This shows that she has a heart that does not judge, whereas many people would have said that ballet is not for boys, here was Mrs. Wilkinson asking him to join in. She understands that people have talents. Unless others encourage them to follow those talents they will not get far. Talent is not based on gender-roles. Another example of Mrs. Wilkinson being a motivator is when she provides free of charge ballet lessons. It is obvious that Mrs. Wilkinson wanted to see Billy succeed in this career, with no personal gain whatsoever. While others discouraged any behavior that made a man ‘less manly’,...

...art. She was not jealous of his potential but rather encouraged it by setting a perfect environment. She was a mother-like figure because she knew that everyone needs that moral support, especially when someone lacks that support at home, such as Billy. She understood that times were difficult and things for his family were particularly difficult because of the recent loss. She provided the tough love that a young boy such as Billy Elliot needed in order to grow. Her character brings a success to the movie almost as much as Billy Elliot’s character. She was the spark of Billy Elliot.

She likes to share her knowledge and teach others things, like when she was talking to Montag for the first time: " 'Did you know that once billboards were only twenty feet long? But cars started rushing by so quickly they had to stretch the advertising out so it would last. [...] There's dew on the grass in the morning. [...] And if you look [...] there's a man on the moon.' He [Montag] hadn't looked for a long time," (Bradbury 7). She makes people think and wonder.
All signs in the beginning of the movie point to her personality was being mostly influenced by the environment. Examples of environmental factors include her overly affectionate parents, her rich upbringing, and no punishments for her

But she knows that if she doesn't get the water then her family might die from being dehydrated. So basically, she has to motivate herself. Salva does have motivators and Nya does

“A well dressed woman, even though her purse is painfully empty, can conquer the world.” This quote from actress and women’s rights inspiration and icon, Louise Brooks, accurately describes her life. The quote means being independent and relying on your own ability is what will get you ahead in life. This is how Brooks lived her seventy nine year life. She is best known for her many films in Hollywood. Between the years 1925 and 1938 she was in twenty four films. Not only was she a Hollywood actress, she was also a dancer and a Broadway performer. But, Louise Brooks is also known for other things beside her performing. Louise Brooks was the most influential person of all on
Failure and fear are known to discourage countless numbers of people throughout society, and has stopped many dreams from being achieved. great example. She is classy and has high expectations of her world. She is torn between Tom who cheats on her, but has a great reputation, and Gatsby, who truly loves her. Daisy’s traits, statements, and the changes she undergoes show the reader her true character.
Mrs. Wilkinson was the motivation for his dancing career. She is very significant to the movie because she was the only adult that believed in him from the beginning. She did not tell him that ballet was for girls, or that he would never make it. In fact she states that he has great potential that can take him far. She is the reason that this film was able to move forward. This motherly role is very effective because in everyone’s life, there has been that one person that was always there, and that pushed them to be better all the time. This is what the ballet teacher does.
Through Misty Copeland’s journey of becoming a ballerina, she faced many obstacles in which she decided to write a book about. Her biography, “Life in Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina”, was when people really discovered her. It increased her fame and inspired people tremendously. Another event that impacted her successful life was filming the Under Armour Commercial titled, “I Will What I Want”. The title of the commercial itself implies that she has a passion for something and is determined to fulfill her dream. The commercial spoke to people about her life and story. The book sold fast and people loved her perseverance and fight. Because of that, Misty Copeland was added to the list of “100 Most Influential People” in Time Magazine (“Misty Copeland”, Contemporary Authors”. Misty isn’t only the second African- American ballet soloist, she is a heart touching performer who has danced in several prestigious pieces. She proved to people that it race does not matter when dancing.
