The Sin Against The Holy Spirit
On the occasion of Jesus healing a man who was blind, dumb and possessed by a devil, the Scribes and Pharisees accused Him of using power from Beelzebub to work the miracle. (Matt. 12:22-24)
The Lord said, “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come” (Matt. 12:31-32 KJV).
Those verses have been used by certain people to teach that there is a sin, which may be committed against the Holy Spirit and once committed, it will bring the condemnation of hell upon the guilty person and nothing can be done to change his destiny.

He could have rejected offer number one and accepted offer number two and been saved. In fact, he could have rejected offers number one and two and accepted offer number three and been saved. But, when he rejected offer number three, the last offer, he went over the falls and to his death.
God’s dealings with humanity, down through the centuries, are demonstrated in this illustration. It’s the history of humanity turning away from God and how He dealt with them.
When man sinned in the Garden of Eden, justice called for the destruction of the human race. However; instead, God offered a means for man to redeem himself. He sent prophets and finally, through Moses, He gave a written Law. Yet, for the most part, the pleadings of the prophets were ignored. That was God’s first offer of help to humanity.
In the fullness of time, the Son of God came into the world and tried to turn man back to God. Nonetheless, not only did the masses reject Him, they killed Him. That was man’s second opportunity to be

... of evil against you, for my sake. Rejoice and exult, because your reward is great in heaven; for so did they persecute the prophets who were before you" (Matthew 5:11-12).

...tle. Which is, “THAT YE SIN NOT”? What the Scripture is saying here in verse 1 is that if by any reason you should fall into sin, because of the lack of consecration and watchfulness you do not have to remain in the state of sin. God will grant unto you by His mercy another opportunity to be redeemed through the blood of Jesus Christ, for the removing of your sins. Jesus is the advocate for those who fall in the temptation of their flesh and sin. The word advocate in the Greek parakletos, pronounced par-ak’-lay-tos, meaning an intercessor, counselor: comforter. Jesus Christ is represented as the mediator that counsels you unto strength, showing you the way back unto God. Once you have returned unto the Father, He will comfort you and keep you, only if you allow Him. The Lord will never console you in the state of your sins, for He finds no pleasure in you sinning.
Since Everyman was able to restore his friend Good Deeds through his scourging shows that salvation lies in the hands of the sinner. Everyman does not have any redemptive power within himself, but he has to chose to follow Christ in order to go to Heaven are reject his salvation and be cast into outer darkness. So it is with every man; the power to accept salvation is in their hands.
The mention of the Holy Spirit so often in Romans 8 (more than twenty times) has the purpose of pointing out the actions of the Father, which serves to reveal His identity as the one who raised Jesus, specifically in Romans 8:11, from the dead. This same verb, is also used in Romans 4:17 in relationship to the faith of Abraham. The Father who raised Jesus from the dead and gives life the Abraham 's faith is the same Who will raise the believers of Jesus. In a similar fashion to the identity descriptions within Romans 4, namely Romans 4:5, 17, 24 and their relationship, there is an echo in Romans 8:32: “He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?” The Father is He who
In “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” there is one God compared to the several mentioned in “Changing Woman”. The one God has a lot more power compared to the several Gods because it seems as thought the power is divided up. Edwards tells his readers God “is not only able to cast wicked men into hell, but he can most easily do it.”(348). This is a great deal of power to be able to send men to the worst place there is with ease. This kind of power is not talked about in “Changing Women”. Instead of a God protecting us from evil it is the twins who go out looking to kill all the evil monsters that have been tormenting the place in which they live. They do seek help from their father who is a God, but it does not compare to a God having the power to send the wicked too eternal
Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit in John 14:16-17, “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him not knows him. Y...
...world do not understand that “Only God is good (Mark 10:18), and His Law is perfect (Psalm 19:7), holy, just and good (Romans 7:12). They lack knowledge of God’s Law and therefore don’t see their need to repent and trust the Savior—no Law, no sin, no wrath, no repentance, no salvation”(Comfort). I know God loves me and wants to have a relationship with me, God is good, His law is just and I deserve punishment. But Jesus died on the cross and defeated death by his resurrection and saved me through my faith.
... is only mentioned a few times in the Old Testament. The reason this is so special is because the man who took on sin and became the ultimate sacrifice was Jesus. Who else could be so worthy than the son of God? Without Jesus the only way to receive redemption was through animal sacrifice but now under new law it requires faith and carrying out Gods word. Forgiving is something all Christians should exemplify daily and remember the one who made the ultimate sacrifice for us, so we too may be saved.
Forgiveness (Luke 6:37): " Do not judge others, and God will not judge you; do not condemn others, and God will not condemn you; forgive others and God will forgive you." The passage teaches us that we should forgive others and we will be forgiven. We should treat others, as we want to be treated. Jesus never judged or condemned others no matter what they did to him.
A strong Christian lesson on the true nature of forgiveness can be found in Christ’s Sermon on the Mount:
Christians are not called to feel love for all persons, but to desire to act in a caring and just way towards all, which is the true reality of a believer’s unity with Christ. As we can see in Romans 8 it has already been establish that there is no condemnation for the ones whom God is sanctifying by the Holy Spirit. Paul explains that the primary cause of distinction between the true believer and all others is the existence and work of the Holy Spirit within. Within the chapter we all have received the proclamation that we have been freed from the bondage of sin and shame. Paul has taught us that our spirit plays a serious role in the sanctification of the believer. But, today many churches don’t teach much on the necessity of the process that is causing people to go astray doing what they want with no regard’s of what is set in order by God’s word. To truly understand this chapter one must understand text that appears in the text of Romans 6 and 7. This paper will give some of what Paul taught and what he shared about the concept of sanctification and how the spirit is involved with it all.
The rule of Biblical interpretation that has been broke here is that no doctrine is to entirely be based off one passage of Scripture from the Bible. Along with that no verse or phrase can or should be allowed to have a meaning when isolated that it would not have if it was kept in its original context.
