This essay will be explaining the differences and the similarities in the given prompts. The two prompts given are from S. E. Hinton’s book The Outsiders and Harper Lee’s book To Kill A Mockingbird.
The first excerpt was from The Outsiders. At this point in the story, Cherry was telling Ponyboy that the world she lived in and the one he did weren’t so different, as they could both be staring at the sunset from each of their houses. Four out of five of the excerpt from To Kill A Mockingbird were talking about the fact that people are separated - classified, if you will - into different based on similar traits and/or their lifestyle. This shows that mostly, the two excerpt are different.
