After, the oxygen goes down the trachea and through the bronchial tubes into the lungs where the bronchial tubes which are divided into smaller tubes called the alveoli. These alveoli's are surrounded by a mesh of blood vessels which then inhaled oxygen goes to the blood. After absorbing the oxygen the blood leaves the lungs and goes to the heart which it pumps the oxygen to the cells, tissues and organs.
