To me one of the most significant things that happened in the story is how Raina is represented that she does not feel very confident with herself, which is an actual problem that many pre-teens and teenagers go through while in school, and it is quiet realistic since her struggle with her image is on the lighter side of the spectrum like some kids due to peer pressure. Another thing that is well represented is that with the help of her friends though she is able to get over her image and begins to feel confident again.
