Introduction
Gun violence refers to any form of violence committed with the use of a gun. Currently, two forms of gun violence. It may be considered criminal or non-criminal. Criminal gun violence is associated with suicide, homicide, assault with a deadly weapon and attempted suicide. Non-criminal forms include attempted or unintentional injury to an individual. Gun violence is predominant in most states across the world due to laws enacted by different societies. In some countries such as the United States, such laws are enacted in their constitution as a right for all individuals in the society.

The same guns that have been provided to individuals for self protection have also served to increase the number of people who die from them. Most notably, the presence of guns has been associated with most homicide and suicide cases where an individual decides to take their own life by using a legalized firearm. A report showing the number of cases of homicide between 1999 and 2013 showed that 52.2 percent of all suicide cases resulting from legalized guns. The case for homicide cases from legalized firearms stand at 66.6%. Additionally, there are some cases where, it has been reported that guns caused unintentionally death in individuals. Cases such as suicide and unintended death could more likely have originated from guns laws that are not stringent in the society. The loss of a single individual to a gun in the society should never be taken lightly since life is inherent to all human being. The main reason why most individuals required guns in the first place was to protect themselves against an enemy however, the inadequacies in laws is what has caused all the commotion and cases as noted in the above
