The perfect Fall Day for me is Halloween night. Halloween night is perfect for me because we get a thousand pieces of candy. To start of on Halloween morning we find all the halloween make up and look up designs. This Halloween I am not sure what I am going to be.Halloween is a spooky night when a lot of people go trick-or-treating. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. To me it feels like Halloween screams my name. On Halloween people dress up in scary costumes and scare people. On Halloween, we always meet up with our friends and go to houses together. After we go trick-or-treating we always go eat together. We normally go to summergrove to get candy. Halloween is a scary holiday and a fun one at the same time. On Halloween my family
Late autumn has arrived and with it comes the dark magic of Halloween--and, of course, the
The story of Summer, by David Updike, is set during that idyllic time in life when responsibility is the last word on anyone's mind. And yet, as with all human affairs, responsibility is an ever-present and ever-necessary aspect to life. What happens when the protagonist, Homer, loses his awareness of a certain personal responsibility to maintain self-control? Homer's actions increasingly make him act foolishly, internally and externally. Also, how does Homer return to a sense of sanity and responsibility? To a degree, I would say that he does.
It’s fall everyone and Halloween is coming.I would like to tell you that fall is the best season of all.
Life was brutal and deadly for the the Continental Army who were at the dreadful winter at Valley Forge. Winter at Valley Forge is a turning point because it was a place of death and diseases which were spreading at a super fast pace. The men of the Army suffered badly from the cold and had nearly nothing to eat or wear. But the troops didn’t quit, they worked harder and harder which made the Winter at Valley Forge a turning point of the Revolutionary War.
In June 1944 the landing ship tank is preparing to go to battle. On the home front the ship was mass produced in a factory for the D-day invasion. In Chicago winter is usually the most dreaded time of the year. It rains, snows, and is just freezing. In january 1985 it was -27℉. In order to go outside in the months of December, January, and February you have to wear a hat, gloves,a scarf and multiple layers of clothes in order to stay warm. Almost every morning you would have to wipe off the snow, frost, and ice off your car. The are also lots of danger because like black ice. Ice is not visible on most roads, this can cause cars to slip. In the winter it get a lot darker a lot earlier. At 4:30 it's close to complete darkness. Winter in some parts of the world is 70℉ but not in Chicago.
Known as D-Day. This is one of the most gruesome battles that used a lot of manpower and Artillery. The Battle was supposed to take place on June 5th, 1944, but due to atrocious weather, it was delayed. Thousands of troops and paratroopers were on the ground, ensuring the roads, and bridges were secured for possible enemies before the Battle started at 6:30 am on 6 June. 156,000 Allied troops had successfully landed and took over Normandy’s beaches by taking down the Germans with maximum force and power. Twelve allied nations provided munition and manpower to help with the invasion. According to some calculated estimates, 4,000 allied troops lost their courageous lives in the D-Day invasion (History.com Staff, 2009).

Amazing a zillion times is how I would describe my Thanksgiving this year! I went to Las Vegas to go visit my dad. We didn't really go anywhere but we got to sit down and hang out with each other. Going to Las Vegas is special to me because I don't get to see my dad as often as i'd like to. Every moment in Vegas is truly a moment to enjoy and admire.
Thanksgiving is all about being thankful for what I have, and also being able to spend time with all my family, including the ones I do not see often. During thanksgiving holiday, I enjoy helping my family cook in the kitchen and prepare the large meal for all the people that come to my house for thanksgiving. I also love eating the food that we prepare during the holidays because the food always taste amazing, and it is not food that I get on just a normal day of the year. Lastly, I like to just be able to sit around the table and spend time with family while we enjoy tasteful food together. I also just like the holidays because I can put all my stress aside and just spend time with the ones that I love.
Fall is sudden, unpredicted, unintentional occurrence resulting in-patient landing on ground or at lower level. Falls and fall related injuries incur cost for the patient as well as the health cares system. The fall has a significant impact in patient quality of life and usually fall has many reasons to happen. Thus, preventing falls among patients in healthcare settings requires a complex approach, and recognition, evaluation and prevention of patient falls are significant challenges. Falls are a common cause of injury and the leading cause of nonfatal injuries and trauma-related hospitalizations in the United States (Barton, 2009). Falls occur in all types of healthcare institutions and to all patient populations. Up to 12% of hospitalized patients fall at least once during their hospital stay (Kalisch, Tschannen, & Lee, 2012). It has been using different strategies in many hospitals to prevent or at least to decrease the incidence of fall. However, the number of falls in the hospitals increases at alarming rate in the nation. The hospitals try to implement more efficient intervention strategies, but the number fall increase instead of decrease. In fact, many interventions to prevent falls and fall-related injuries require organized support and effective implementation for specific at risk and vulnerable subpopulations, such as the frail elderly and those at risk for injury.
Winter break of my eighth grade year my parents decided to go on a cruise. We would go on the cruise and visit Progresso and Cozumel, Mexico. I was less than excited because I did not want to lose wifi. I know I was a vain just fourteen years old. The port was in New Orleans so we ventured the eight hour drive to the port. We arrived and the luggage checks took forever. The lines were so long and I had just been in a car. I was already mad and then we took a family picture and I looked a mess. I became angry that we had to take our I.D. picture too. I wanted to look my best. I know I was a vain just fourteen years old. We get to our cabin and turn on the T.V. and there was breaking news. We were on the ship the day Sandy Hook took place. I was in utter shock. I still
Treacherous weather conditions may have you wanting to stay home, but that’s not always possible, including during the winter months. Sleet, ice, and snow can make for a tough drive, but as long as you take it slow and maintain extra space between yourself and the car in front, you can make the trip. At the same time, it is important to include certain winter car accessories, must have items when the weather is a beast.
