From all sides, Night Raider troops advanced on each of the villages. As small groups of Night Raiders marched down the roads into town, even larger groups surrounded the outskirts. With men standing at arms length, the Night Raiders prevented any villager from escaping. The small bands of Night Raiders trudged through the streets, setting fire to homes, apprehending any young warriors, and horrifying children. Children cowered in their mother's arms along the streets. Warriors and undercover Rebels quickly equipped themselves for battle. Screams of terror echoed off the trees throughout the woods. Smoke filled the air, creating a smokey outlook. Burning clothing and wood littered the streets. As the Night Raiders headed for the center of town, so did the villagers. Brave Rebels and warriors met up in the streets, hiding themselves amongst the crowds. Very few Rebel spies hid behind trees just outside of each village, watching and waiting for an opening. Fluttering fairies and pixies perched themselves on tree branches. Trolls waddled quietly closer to the edge of the village. The thick foliage made it perfect it hid behind. The cloudy night sky prevented the moonlight from displaying their position. As the fire flamed on, many more creatures waited and watched at the edge, silently praying. Night Raider leaders lead the groups to the center of the villages. Tension filled the air as the leaders prepared to speak. "There is no point in fighting us!" Each one shouted, clearly rehearsing it a few times beforehand. "Your precious Peacekeeper will be dead within minutes! Join us and see what wonders await for you outside of these boarders!" "If we step out, we'll die!" A brave soul shouted. Speaking with great determination... ... middle of paper ... ...t reward yet." His sinister smile was enough to convince Suprina. It was over before it even started. "Why not bring me back alive? I'm sure he'd love to watch me rot in a musty cell for eternity." Suprina stood on the edge of the crate, forcing the other side upwards. "I'm sure that would be nice. For you. But suffering in the soul yard is much more effective." He waved the two night Raiders beside him wave, motioning that Suprina was his. Reluctantly, the two troops marched off, only to be stabbed in the heart and beaten to death by children. Swiftly, Suprina slid of the wooden crate, sword at the ready. Shifting from leg to leg, Suprina anxiously anticipate the leader's first move. She ran through the possible options in her mind as she and the leader spared off in a staring match. They were light on their toes as they slowly went around in an invisible circle.
Above the city, the men could see the destruction the city had experienced during the civil war. Many buildings were demolished and the streets crumbled. The Black Hawks were down low over the city, and the Little Birds were closing in on the target. Tires burning on the street near the target set alarm. It was a way Somalis signaled trouble and summoned militia.

I had been in the village for all but a week when I realized there was something... wrong. There seemed to be an underlying atmosphere of fear and animosity. Of course, with my wide-eyed, innocent thinking at the time, I assumed the presence of Satan had damaged the townspeople 's trust of one another. Again, I blissfully accepted this, and I was wrong.
The emotional thriller, The Village, is about an isolated town that bases their lives around the 19th century, Amish country. The village has highly secured borders and outside the borders “those we don’t speak of” live and it’s an unspoken truce that the other won’t cross the borders. But the town soon turns upside down when Lucious Hunt breaches the borders to find medicine after the death of Edwards’s son. The writers and producers of this movie express symbolism of the fear of the unknown, the loss of innocence, and through the use of colors.
The townspeople fight on again, perhaps with even more resolve, after the execution of Alex Morden, instead of their spirits being crushed, as was the intent. The entire purpose of Alex Morden’s public execution was to dissuade potential upstarts, but the result was the exact opposite of what was desired. The public display only empowered the townspeople’s resolve to fight back. To put it in Mayor Orden’s words, “ ‘Our people are invaded, but I don’t think they’re conquered.’ ” [p 139] Consequently, these people refuse to be put down, and, when faced with situations like Alex’s death, are not deterred but continue on with strengthened resolve.
The village had shutdown, the once giddy streets became grim. Flowers that once flourished in the meadows around the village wilted and rot. Death took over homes. Blissful faces became helpless.
... doors. They were all old, and looked as if they might collapse. The houses have been worn down, by the constant goblin raids. I passed house after house, before reaching the edge of the village. Belophose whinnied, strangely, as if she sensed something coming. I could sense it too. It was too quiet. It was never this quiet. As if on cue, the earth shook, and the mountain began to crumble. Rocks were falling and the villagers screaming.
"Please, Mr. Demon King, sir, don't kill us." begged Wendy, while trying to speak over William's yells of fright and terror.
“They set a bomb off in the base,” she explained looking terrified. “Then they raided it and made sure that not a single one of us had escaped. I was lucky not to be there when it happened. I am even more lucky that they didn’t hunt me down.” She tipped the motorcycle over and hid it with some brush. “Follow me,” she demanded.
