Social Media is one of the most powerful sources of connecting with one another in todays’ society. The creation of audience targeting allows advertisers the ability to tailor ads to the likeness of the consumer based off of their user profile they created for Facebook when the user signed up. The specificity of the user profile also entails the advertisers to easily determine which target market the consumer falls in and whether or not the company needs to make any changes to the ads in order to maintain the users attention.
