Logic is a great rapper
Logic is one of the best rappers. When it comes to making concept albums, Logic isn’t like these other mumble rappers we’ve been seeing lately. He tells stories of his past without using as much violence as the other rappers. His music isn’t clean but it still sends a good message through every verses. Logic has a way of rapping to the point when he raps you can hear everything he says unlike these other people like LIL YACHTY and LIL PUMP. He also puts great beats behind his verses. He talks about the hard topics that no-one wants to talk about. When he makes his music he makes people happy with the most of it. Logic has told stories of his past to let us get to know him a little better

Look him up on genius’s YouTube channel. There he explains his songs word for word verse by verse. He tells what the song means to him and what kind of messages he was trying to get from it. When he goes on genius he tells what he was trying to say in his songs. One of his best videos is The Incredible True Story.
In The Incredible True Story Logic talks about him and his crew. Everyone that helps him make his beats and out together lyrics is on the album. Logic also talks about what he thinks the future will be like if we continue to destroy the Earth. He tells everything that in detail how things will fall into place and how humanity will crumble if we don’t fix our problems. We need to stop the race wars and start excepting everyone for who and what they are. Logic likes to talk about all the hard topics that no-one else wants to talk about. He talks about how he had problems with his parents growing up. Both of his parents were on drugs and his dad was never around. Logic has a black father and a White mother. His mother is a racist yet she has several black kids with different black men. He grew up with his mother calling him out of name and all at the same time the kids were doing the same thing. Now that Logic has grown up he has developed a relationship with his father and no longer talks to his

Lupe Fiasco has become one of hip-hop fastest rising superstar ever since releasing his first album. Although many listeners find some of his music very controversial, yet Fiasco is one of the few artists whose music teaches people about current events that the world has turned the blind eye to, and Lupe lyrical trickster, story teller.
Reality melted around me as I poured through album reviews and rankings, seeing the amount of praise and reverence his work holds, I was blown away. I watched interviews from artists I’d been a fan of for years, claiming that Kanye was their inspiration. I read analysis pinpointing how each of his albums opened up new sub genres in hip hop, how he completely changed the stigmatism of the art, allowing for new creative freedom, opening the doors for artists like Drake, Tyler the Creator and Chance the Rapper just to name a few. He had been right under the surface all along. He paved the way for my generation of artists to walk on, and I had been blissfully ignorant, skipping along his path.
Kanye Omari West, rapper, producer, professional celebrity, and with an ego to match, has forced himself into the limelight of the music industry. Kanye West has made a lasting impression on all of those around him, whether it be a good one or bad. With seven full length albums, a multimillion record label company, and a successful fashion business all under his belt, it’s fair to say that Kanye has done his fair share of creating. Over the last twelve years Kanye went from a young Chicago kid just trying to get his flows off, to one of the most decorated musicians of all time. With over 20 Grammy’s and 3 of his albums ending up on the Rolling stones “500 greatest albums of all time”. He has continuously created, entertained, and spoken his mind for years. Whether it be “George Bush does not care about black people” or “Taylor imma let you finish, but Beyoncé had
Baron’s first example of logical explanation is based on privacy. He states“we’re giving up our privacy in ways that writers never did before” (Baron 714). Baron states this because privacy on the internet is difficult to obtain as websites, businesses and social media are trying to learn more about you. Logically, it is impossible to remain private on the internet today, “we’re giving up our privacy” every time we post anything or give our information away. So with this powerful tool we must use it appropriately and be safe in ways that we use it in order to protect ourselves and everyone else who uses it, it's the only logical choice. Baron then gives another example of logic as he states "every new communication technology has the capacity to expand the set of who gets to write and talk, and who gets to publish and be heard" (707). In this part of his article, Dennis Baron explains the logical benefits the internet technology has given its users, such as the ability to get “published” by “writing and talking”. This technology allows anyone who owns a computer the opportunity to create writing pieces for the world to enjoy. Overall, from a logical standpoint, Baron believes writing should not be hindered just because of an increase in writing, but embraced as it allows for creative thinking with endless possibilities that anyone can
In the article written by Shamontiel Vaughan entitled "Why J. Cole's '2014 Forest Hills Drive' is best rap album of the year,” the author makes a great point about artist having meaning to their music. The meaning behind J. Cole’s music consist of how the lyrics are based on his past in the state of North Carolina. Shamontiel talked about how rhyme patterns are nothing without a meaning. She explains how artist are comfortable with meaningless flows with words that shows expression that match the rhythm, but their content has basically no meaning. Most Artists rap about a bunch of nothing with a passionate flow, that at some point rappers need to tap into the true meaning of Hip-Hop, which is having flow and a message. The only true reason why I fell in love with J. Cole as an artist, is because of the fact of where he was born and raised with the support of his community. Lastly his platinum albums were so great, and he is different from any other artist.
When people hear the word rap, they think money and drugs. Unfortunately, every rapper falls in to that category however some rap can be more meaningful than any song could every be. Today, I’m going to show you one rapper who falls into this stereotype.
When he was growing up he stayed with his grandparents a lot , his grandmother had 5 daughters . Then they all had kids. So Gates was always around family as a young boy . His influences progressively started here. Kevin Gates say “ i remember not knowing what music was , and chasing my cousins into the living room to watch tv”. “I can't even remember the first time i bought a rap tape”. Back the Gates was to young and it was explicit so he had his cousins swipe them for him. Gates was inspired by some of the greatest storyteller rap artist of his generation , like “Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre”. Now lets remember Gates was young at the time and he also was in with lil “Kriss Kross”, because he always like to “ Jump Jump”. Never did he think it would lead him to making music. The first time Gates had the vision he was in the 7th grade and he wrote his 1st rap . Persuaded by the emotion he was giving off . Based on everything he was seeing and that was going on around him. He picked up a couple more educators that helped inspire his direction that he had for music. “Master P” i was probably listening to his work at the time . “No Limit” 9 out of 10 times Gates says in an interview. He never really knew what his calling was , but rapping was like his hidden talent. . It was the start of prosperity that belongs to him in the process of progressing in the field he was in. He envisioned eventual triumph. He started by writing in a
The first song I am going to start with and explain is his song soundtrack 2 my life, he discusses how he has a very hard time in his young life. He discusses how his mom got him christmas presents and how he was shocked due to being from a very poor family due to not having the advantage of being white. He continues to say how his emotions are pouring out of him as in he is letting all of the stuff that he has gone through that was hard out and he is ready to let it all out for the best of his health. He mainly discusses the pain he has gone through and how it is hard growing up as a young black male. After this main song, he continues to open up on how he coped with this heartache that he has gone through. In song marijuana he talks about how he used to smoke marijuana to help him cope with life. He at one part says how he needs it because it's the only thing to keep him level up in his head, A.K.A only thing that gets him through this everyday struggle of being the minority. Clearly this was cudi's way of living in the reality of a world that blacks are being oppressed every day. In his song the sky might fall which is already a cry for help. He opens up saying what a world that i'm living in will the rainstorms ever end, he is trying to say will all this pain and
Logic affects our lives everyday. We use it both subconsciously and consciously to make decisions which can be as important as our careers, or as insignificant as what to eat for lunch. Logic can also be used in other ways. Ironically, others’ bad logic can result in us learning something just as much as we learn from our own bad decisions. This is shown in Monty Python’s Quest for the Holy Grail.
Hailing from the windy city we have Kanye “Yeezus” West. In my opinion Kanye West is one of the most indubitable rappers of this generation; however he is technically a simple rapper. He drops one or two rhymes per bar, and they range from one to two syllab...
With poetry coming in many different styles today, writing comes easy for some. One way that poetry is written today is in the form of rap. The artist known as "J Cole" is one of the best rappers of the 21st century. J Cole went double platinum with top hits such as "Wet Dreamz" and "Love Yourz". In both of these songs Cole connects the listener's with relatable stories and scenarios. Both of these songs are forms of poetry somehow.
The study of philosophy has become a lost art. Philosophy does not receive credit for the achievements received, when all work stems from philosophy. One important branch of philosophy is logic. Through logic, the world can see how questions are developed, why questions are asked, and how questions are invalid. Many logicians have been formulating hypothesis centering around logic for years. Aristotle and George Boole are two logicians who are extremely well known for their work in the philosophical field and their conflicting viewpoints when considering logic. In the textbook, A Concise Introduction to Logic
He writes that a typical blues or gospel song both followed a three-step process that can be used by entertainers across multiple platforms. These processes, although slightly different in wording, do share an overall meaning and purpose. The process begins with the artist acknowledging their overall experience or burden, after that the artist must find the voice to tell the story through. This story can be told from the perspective of the artist themself, or through the perspective of another individual. The final step consists of the artist using said struggle to demonstrate how it affects people on a larger scale, this is the step that makes a piece of art relatable and palatable. Whether Melle Mel of the Grandmaster Flash and the furious five knew about this process or not, he seemed to explain the hardships of living in New-York inner cities through this process
Today Ice is considered to be a wealthy family man and has been in movies like “Are We There Yet”, but that does not mean his experiences and right to talk about the ghetto are any less meaningful .Ice Cubes song is a masterful work of art that raises awareness of societies issues through the powerful translation of music. He brings up real issues in a way that gets people interested and evokes emotions in his listeners which is true
One believes the nature of logic is how we each deal with a situation and how we decide what the right thing to do is and how we come to certain conclusions about a situation. We all have had experiences in our life that contribute to what we feel is logical or not logical.
