Intervention - Overview
My intervention is to see how beneficial it is to start the 21st Century Learning Skills with young children ranging in ages from infant to four years old. In today’s society it seems as though there are many young children out there who are not prepared for Kindergarten or the first grade. Starting at a young age to prepare the children is important because if they are capable which they are, why should they be held back from all of the learning they are capable of doing. Also, teachers are a major impact in this active research because that is how the children are learning as well as their families. There is so much confusion for them and their families are just as confused because if feel as though they are unable to help and support their child with their work because they have never seen the types of lessons being presented for completion. I strongly believe that no child should be left behind because it can lead them down a negative path of life at an early age. It is depressing to see and hear about children who struggle with school so they decide other choices that are not so promising of a great future.
Reading, writing and mathematics are a struggle for children throughout their educational experience and I think that it would make the biggest difference in their education if we start implementing the new teaching styles now. I think does learning need to be a struggle? It does not especially if we have the proper tools to help support and guide children through their learning experiences and prepare them as their willing throughout their young ages.
