All college athletes should be paid. Not all athletes get a full ride scholarship for sports. Each and every player who participates on the team, should get paid, whether it is practicing or playing in the game. It may help them financially with school or to eat. This goes the same way with female athletes; they shouldn’t be treated any differently. Should college athletes be paid? Why not? All athletes should be treated the same. If they get paid, then they do not have to worry about having financial issues. Over the years, it’s been a trending topic about athletes getting paid. Most athletes uses scholarships. Majority of colleges are debating whether paying college athletes would benefit them in any way. The most common two sports are football and basketball. These are the main two sports that athletes should be getting paid to do. The scholarships that most athletes receive are basically another form of way of them getting paid. They get scholarships worth up to $250,000 for their whole college career. Scholarships should be given to athletes full cost. It should cover everything they need in college. Maybe the top key players or known players on each team would be paid. They would either receive more or all. Most of the top recruit athletes used to be paid by colleges to come play for them.
