Growing up I learned many concept and skills. I learned to play basketball, a guitar, skate and so many other physical things. I am proud to gain these abilities because these concepts and skills is very difficult to obtain today. This generation that we are currently living is changing from what the “90’s kid” had been taught. What is being taught now is how one should act or be to be socially accepted. How we communicate now is through social media. With social media being our go to, society now makes it our voice thus degenerating us from verbal contact and labeling people depending what is being said towards them. A cover story what was suppose had happen in a real life event. The news media of this generation feeds us with lies. Those stories that they tell us may or may not be factual. Fox, ABC, CNN, and many other have never admitted the truth about their own political bias and mislead viewers by propagandizing them. In the article, “Dirty! CNN caught LYING to viewers about last night’s debate, this is just LOW!,” it states that CNN lives up to Clinton’s name. CNN aired their own poll of Clinton having a higher vote percentage than Trump, when CNN sampled 27% of Republicans in the poll. Only 521 people were sampled and majority were liberal. Having this said, since they lie about political views which is very important to America, would you trust anything non-related that they cover? News networks get funded by many corporations, banks, and politicians. There is no need to be funding news company since they only summarize events. Theses investors only invest so they can cover up the truth and spread lies and feed us fears. Everything that is developed, advertise or given to us is for pleasure. That is how this generation is set up to be. The media of entertainment is a distraction of what we can or could be. Entertainment today promotes media on how one is suppose to act, value, and see things. In the article, “Beijing bans entertainment news that promotes Western lifestyles or pokes fun at Chinese values,” Beijing bans America’s culture. “Western lifestyles,” love affairs, family disputes, and mythical heroes is forbidden to be seen by the eyes of the people of Beijing. It seems like China does not like to hear about the exaggeration of overnight fame, fortune, wealth, and success as they see this as being selfish. News organization will be punished if caught breaking this new law created from National People’s Congress Standing Committee. State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television arranged to ensure reports about the world of entertainment and celebrities complies with the Communist Party’s ideologies and positive tone. Many let the entertainment get to them and let it decide their future, Beijing shows that they care about their people’s lives and not be influenced by the liars . Shows, movies and games show us the roles that they create to influence us to be like the fictional characters of the made up story.
