In the United States, the Anglo community is oppressing people of color because of their language, culture, and believes. For many years the Anglo has mistreated color races because they are different, causing anger and not understanding how it feels to be biracial. Latinos identities are robbed by not being able to speak Spanish in school. Therefore, the community in America needs to come together to fight against oppression and injustice caused by the difference in language and culture to improve equality for a group of people, who have lived marginalized throughout the years.

People should not be cut out of their identity just because someone else can’t speak a didn’t language. Anzaldua explains “I and all Chicano students were required to take two speech classes, their purpose: to get rid of our accents” – who is to say that robbing a person of its language is less violent” (206). It is inhuman for someone to cut a part of someone else’s identity just because they do not understand how it feels to be biracial. Therefore, It is unfair how people looked upon for what language they speak, very language is unique in its way. Mike Tulee claims “Epidemics among The Native Americans was god’s punishment for sin” it is unfair to kill someone for being or sounding different. The Anglo for many years has oppressed, those who look different from them because they just don’t fit in. Denise Bill explains “Education is the only way out of oppression and injustice” I believe that a good education someone can outshine those who doubted. Indeed, someone with a good education can educate the community about oppression and injustice that a marginalized group of people suffers by peacefully informing others not to judge or treat someone who is different from you
