Ethical leadership and ethical decision making are essential needed components within the Healthcare Center where I am employed and throughout the profession. This essay will analyze how and why ethical practices are critical to the Health Care profession, identify three specific leadership dilemmas and evaluate and apply ethical decision making solutions examining the resulting impact.

decisions builds trust in your organization among patients and business associates. Strong patient relationships are critical to a successful business. The organization’s leaders are a good example for ethical representatives. If the leaders conduct and incorporates deceiving patients, by removing cash from the money enroll, or bringing home a portion of the medical supplies, they can't be astounded if the employees take after their lead. The employees may see the business as their own and take things that truly suppose to help in the care of the patients. But, patients anticipates that the organization will work in a ethical way that improves the picture of the healthcare. The everyday operations of an organization require everybody makes effective decisions, constantly. Developing, practicing and applying ethical code to circumstances is vital to an organization business image, (Ethical Behavior is Good business, 2011). As a Human Resources Manager my responsibility is to assure the ethical practices and behaviors are implemented within the Healthcare Center. The healthcare facility employs 31 employees; including the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Medical Director, three physician assistants, and two nursing supervisors. The health center provides health services in adult medicine, behavioral health, cardiology, dental, health education, health enrollment assistance, HIV testing and counseling, OB/GYN, otolaryngology (ENT), pediatrics, podiatry, prescription assistance, social services, and vision care. Ninety percent of the patients are without insurance or any form of healthcare coverage, and their income is 0 to less than ten thousand yearly. It is critical that ethical practice and behaviors are implemented daily. All staff member make sure to do their best to prevent and do no harm to others. Many of our patient are emotional sensitive due to their social economical background and many walk enter the health distrustful. Staff member must forbid unkind words, inappropriate facial gestures, improper glance toward another co-worker; imposing personal value, attitudes, and self beliefs. If any of the above components are violated patients could complain and cause an interruption within the health center operation and as a results State and Federal funds could retain. (2013) defines ethical leadership and ethical decision making as being capable of identifying the issues as ethical , having the insightfulness as it relates to ethical matters, having the ability to interpret a circumstances as being ethical, possess the intellect to decide what is ethically correct. Leadership should have the skills to compare ethical issues and select the most important one. For instance, medical, business, social workers, and etc. have different mission statements and values for their consumers. It is typically used interchangeably with word moral which is derived from the Latin word ‘moves’ which means customs or habits. Ethical principles in healthcare are significant to the building blocks of mortality. The principles are beneficence, autonomy, justice, and nonmaleficence. Although these principles can be certainly followed they can also be disregarded. Beneficence is a theory that assures each procedure given is entirely beneficial to that patient to help them advance within their own good. For example, There was a young girl, the age of 17. Looking at the first word in ethical leadership we see, as stated in the Webster-Merriam dictionary, ethical is defined as “following accepted rules of behavior: morally right and good”. When we think of someone who is ethical we, first, think of someone who ‘follows the rules’. By following the rules I mean someone who in the eyes of the majority is morally sound.
