Abortion is considered one of the most debatable topics in our time period. Abortion is the killing of an unborn baby or fetus before it is born. There is much about abortion that most people in America do not know. According to many, abortion is inhumane, murder, and violates the human rights and shouldn't be allowed anywhere in the world.
Abortion is inhumane and cruel. It causes harm to the mother. It also puts the baby through a lot of pain. When the baby is born it appears lout of the womb bloody, and in some cases burned. "The baby is born poisoned and burned" (www.mccl.org). This is cruel to the baby and causes a lot of pain throughout the process. Abortion can also be cruel to the mother. "Abortion causes possible harm and death to the mother" (www.mccl.org). Abortion can take away the gift of life which is also cruel to the mother. It is such an amazing process to conceive a child and everything that has to happen is an unbelievable process. It is cruel and inhumane to take a life away from any mother. The unnecessary pain the baby feels is uncalled for and should not ever have to happen. Abortion has too many complications and too many consequences that are overbearing for some mothers to handle.
It is apparent to say that abortion is murder. Research claims that "The fetus is a human life" (www.ethics.missouri.edu). The fetus is also innocent and defenseless. To kill innocence is murder. "Abortions are different from other murders because the baby is defenseless" (www.iep.utm.edu). It is against the law to murder life, but abortion is legal, so it is legal in or out of the womb. The fetus is alive in the womb and can feel everything. If a baby is murdered that has not had a chance to even live its fate, then what is...

... fact it is the way out for a coward. To make the choice to have sex automatically means accepting the fact that a baby could come into play. When an abortion occurs it does not only put the baby through pain, but also hurts the mother's chances of ever being able to have kids again, which can be one of the most cruel things known to man. The fight of life is so precious, and to underestimate it with abortion is a slap in God's face. To murder the innocence is no better than to murder inside the womb or outside. Regardless of the fact that it is the "mother's choice", she and the guy made the choice to bring that child into life, and to take away what could have been the child to grow up and be the doctor to cure cancer is selfish. God created life and only He has the power to take it back. Abortion is cheating God's will and desire for that living, breathing baby.
There is no excuse to killing an innocent child and abortion is giving people an excuse. Before a child even has the chance to be born and live, their life is taken away because of the mothers decision. There are so many alternatives to abortion. When a woman doesn’t want to keep her baby or does’t have the ability to take care of it, abortion shouldn 't be the first option taken. There are many options out there to be taken like “Abortion alternative clinics [that] offer services such as adoption referrals, free pregnancy testing, crisis pregnancy counseling, post-abortion counseling, and homes for pregnant women” (Chittom & Newton, 2015). With that many options to choose from, why would a woman choose to take the abortion route? When the abortion is in consideration, many women admitted they were not fully educated on the topic. Chittom and Newton (2015) wrote: “these heart wrenching stories describe the violent reactions these women have had to seeing images similar to what they had done in the process of killing their own babies”. After the abortion process was over, many women were shocked and mortified at how the abortion was preformed. For many, only guilt and sorrow remain since the damage was already done. Flat out plain and simple, abortion is not the right route to take. It kills and innocent baby and puts the mother’s life at risk
Abortion, defined as the intentional termination of a pregnancy, is one of the most highly debated liberties of all time. Approximately one to three million abortions are performed each year. Women receive abortions for reasons such as rape, teen pregnancy, and health concerns. Unfortunately, it is a liberty that some still wish to eradicate due to religious beliefs and misconceptions. Abortion should remain a legal option for women because illegal abortions result in far more fatalities, religion does not serve as grounds for a law, and most importantly, there is no conclusive evidence that a fetus is equal to a human being.
“ Each year, nearly 1.2 million American women have an abortion to end a pregnancy.”(www.webmd.com) The personal and controversial topic that continue to be a debate in America. Abortion is one of the most controversial topics in today society. Many question should woman have the right to terminate her pregnancy, which is primarily known as abortion. Many argue that it is on humane to allow abortion, that abortion is almost like committing murder and not giving how the right to live. Many also argue that it is a woman 's right to choose whether or not she wants to have a child and no matter what it is her body and nobody else should be concerned with what she decides to do with her body. So now the question still remains should abortion be legal say I will be analyzing this topic in discussing my views on abortion, pro-life, and pro-choice. So what is abortion? Abortion according to Webster dictionary it is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy.
Abortion: Do We Need It? 1. Abortion is a hot topic these days. We hear about it on television and on the radio. Should we, even take a stance on this issue when we have no idea?
Of the millions of pregnancies that happen every year, almost half of those pregnancies are aborted. What some people do not know is that abortion is murder; the life of an innocent, unborn baby is being ended because the mother does not want that child. Many people say that the baby is unaware of what is going and they do not feel anything; when really, a baby can feel pain just days after conception. A baby is a baby; it still has arms, legs, and a functioning brain just like the rest of us do. So why are these babies getting murdered? Life begins immediately after conception; Abortion is wrong because it is murder, a “quick getaway” and it is a cheaper way for irresponsible women to not have to take care of someone. There are other options that do not involve murder.
... who are not ready to take on the challenges and responsibilities of raising children. To have millions of poor, homeless and unhappy children in the world to cope with life’s injustices would be far more heartbreaking than extracting an embryo from a uterus. Abortion is a very complex issue that should remain a personal decision. The bottom line is that each woman should make her own decision based on her own morals and beliefs.
Abortion is the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus with the purpose to end a pregnancy or any other method for concluding a pregnancy. It has been a controversial subject across the world. There are many different methods of abortion varying from the morning-after pill that prevents the blastocyst from embedding in the uterine wall, to the common uterine or vacuum aspiration, which removes contents in uterus by suction tube (Mackinnon Pg. 95). Labels are given to developing fetuses throughout development. The newly fertilized egg is known as a zygote, when the ball of cells reaches the uterus about ten days after fertilization it is referred to as a blastocyst. In between the second and eight weeks of gestation the organism is called an embryo, from then until birth it is called a fetus, which otherwise is known as young unborn (Mackinnon Pg. 94). If abortion is immoral it is often assumed it should be illegal and vice versa (Mackinnon Pg. 96). Abortion laws vary across many states and countries.
In a pluralistic culture of unwanted pregnancy, there exists a contradiction between a relative sense of morality and the democratic ideal of free choice. Aristotle provided the first written record of this irresolvable contradiction in his book Politics, saying, "When couples have children in excess, let abortion be procured before sense and life have begun; what may or may not be lawfully done in these cases depends on the question of life and sensation." (1) The controversy has always consisted of two sides: "Pro-Lifers", who believe that abortion is morally wrong and should not be allowed, and "Pro-Choicers", who support the woman's right to choose the outcome of her pregnancy in all cases. There is also a large group of people who fall somewhere in between, believing that abortion should only be allowed under certain circumstances. To this day, abortion continues to be a topic of dispute, with each side offering many of the same arguments that have been offered for several millennia. Those concerned with the issue saw this played out most recently in the presidential election, a very close race in which abortion was a key factor in many citizens' votes.
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of a fetus or embryo from the uterus before viability (dictionary.com). Those who disagree with abortion think that this is not right, mid evil and a form of murder. All of those thoughts are correct; abortion is the act of removing a fetus from the protection of the mother’s uterus. However, is it not the duty of the mother to protect her unborn child? In this day in age, we are still allowing this barbaric method of ending a pregnancy to happen despite the many alternatives. If an unexpected pregnancy should occur, abortion should not the only option. There are many reasons why abortion should not be illegal in all parts of the world, and people need to know the options available. Adoption is certainly a strong option in a world wanting for children. Abortion is not a method of birth control and people need to be educated on pregnancy prevention and take on some responsibilities.
For years many different people from many different walks of life have had different opinions about abortion. For some abortion is never wrong, for others under certain circumstances it is O.K., and for still some others it is never right. Abortion is wrong not only because it goes against what God has said, but also because most women are so rushed into and unsure about their decision they regret it later in life.
Abortion is an extremely controversial issue and one that is continually on the forefront of debates. Those who oppose the idea (Pro-lifers), thinks it is an act of woman playing “God” who live from who dies. Yet, whether an unborn baby constitutes a normal person is questionable; a pregnant woman, on the other hand, has the undeniable right to choose whether she wants to have a child or not. Therefore, the decision to have an abortion is the personal choice and responsibility of the woman, because prohibiting abortion impedes freedom of choice and endangers the physical and mental health of women.
Since life begins at the point that an egg is fertilized abortion is thought of as murder as it is the act of taking human life. Abortion is thought of as an act of evil. No normal civil country accepts abortion. Adoption is another way of not committing abortion it would save the children and no one would have to kill any babies anymore. There is 1.5 million American families wanting to adopt child, there are no unwanted children in America. A woman who has an abortion has higher risks in any future pregnancies she may ever have like the risk of ectopic pregnancies doubles, and the chance of a miscarriage also increases. Rape and incest, the right doctors can make sure a woman does not get pregnant. Abortion is just another evil way of killing and punishing the unborn child who did nothing wrong, the criminal who raped or if incest happened that should be the person punished. Everyday abortion is somehow used as a form of birth control by women who for some reason or another did not want the child and did not take the right precautions to not get
In my Opinion, abortion violates a person’s right to life. No one have right to play with another life. If a woman chooses to have sex, she is doing in her own
First, I feel that abortion should be illegal because it can result in medical complications and also psychological trauma. It can cause premature birth and could also cause a baby to be handicapped in future pregnancies. A woman who has had an abortion is 2.3 times more likely to get cervical, ovarian, and or liver cancer. Abortion is the cause of 47,000 woman’s death yearly. It can cause depression for at
Abortions have always been a very controversial topic. Over the years we continue to fight for or against it. One can say that is one of the most talked and argued topic in the United States. An abortion is when a woman terminates her pregnancy before the fetus is viable using various of methods. Some argue that abortions should be illegal and considered murder, while others, from a religious point of view, say that no one has the right to take away the life of a person, in this case the fetus. However, others insist, that abortions are a basic women’s right.
