Our world is inundated with technology, and with this technology comes progress, as well as stagnation, in the Human Resource field. Assessing the impact that changing technology has on managers and employees is a vital part of Human Resources, which is analyzed in a 2015 article. The article discussed how technology influences the hiring process, how it increases the knowledge, skills, and abilities of employees, and how it impacts employee-manager feedback measurements.

However, this distance can also create a sense of isolation between employees and managers in a company, as well as create impractical learning conditions for some individuals. It is important that in my future I can assess my company and determine which technologies can better it, and which ones may worsen it depending on the company culture and diversity within the company. Technology will continually evolve, but what we choose to do with this evolution is what will impact Human Resource field and all employees eternally.
