Along time ago there was a detective named Jon Frost and his partner Rob Moore. They were the best detective duos that London had seen besides Sherlock Holmes. One day they were working a case and Rob stole something, and he got caught. He wouldn’t admit what or why he stole the thing and because of this he got fired. 10 years later there was a series of murders where the victims were missing their toes, fingers, and hair and at every murder scene there was a trail of toes that started with the big toe and after 10 yards there would be another toe. These trials lasted ten toes and they always led to the same place which was Mr. Howl Woolf the Landlord's apartment complex. One of these murders happened once a week for the next three and a half …show more content…
He called the police and Howl Woolf got arrested for murder. He was convicted guilty and everything went back to normal for a little while. 1 year after Mr. Woolf was sent to prison, on detective Frost’s desk there was a pile of hair that was from the people that were murdered. He called the prison to see if Mr. Woolf was still there and they said they had found evidence that he didn’t do it and he was released a couple days ago. He went to check the security camera again to see who did it this time, but when he got there he found the camera busted and a note that read “MEET ME IN THE ALLEY BEHIND YOUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT.” On his way there he wondered how the person knew of his favorite restaurant. When he got to the alley he called the police so that if anything happened they would be able to help him. He walked into the alley with his gun and a flashlight. The deeper into the alley he got the darker it seemed to get. He started hearing strange noises that sounded like flesh ripping and bones cracking. “Clunk” “Clunk” “CLUNK!” The farther he got the louder it …show more content…
YOU HAD TO TELL THE CHIEF THAT I STOLE THE LOCKET! ALL THOSE PEOPLE ARE DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU, AND NOW I WILL FINALLY HAVE MY REVENGE!” He then hit the detective over the head with a rusty pipe that he was hiding behind his head and the detective fell over. A couple days later he woke up in a hospital in extreme pain, and when he looked in a mirror he didn’t have toes, fingers, or, hair. After a couple days he was told how they had come to where he had called them and how they caught him when he was cutting you up and they barely saved his life. Rob Moore was executed 10 days after the unfortunate events of Toe Trail

Little does the detective know he has a long road ahead of him on discovering the unsolved mystery of Lawrence Exeter Jr.

There was this rundown, old split-level on the edge of the town owned and inhabited by a young couple. This young couple did not have much money so they had to rent out the basement. The tenant that lived in the basement was a short, old man by the name of Louis. Louis lived there for about a year, but he NEVER came out of the basement. He NEVER answered the door during rent collection but just slid it through the mail slot. After a year, the couple was considering evicting Louis, mostly because they had a fear of Louis and his shady activities in the basement. Also, the couple was due for a baby in the upcoming year and they felt it was best for Louis to go. Louis did not respond well to the eviction however. So, when the couple was cleaning out the apartment, for another tenant, a skeleton fell out of the closet and landed on the floor with a loud CRASH! The couple ran out and called the police. After the whole thing with the police was sorted out, the couple moved out. More families would move in, but on the anniversary of the eviction, the Ghost of Louis would appear and haunt the inhabitants of the house, causing them to move out. The cycle continues today, and no one has seen Louis ever again, but rumor is he died after that eviction.
Construction of Holmes’s World’s Fair Hotel, or better known as “The Murder Castle” in modern times, began in 1890. The building consisted of over 60 rooms and 51 oddly cut doors. By Holmes’s request, new construction workers were brought in each week so no one would know the exact layout besides him, and he refused to pay for any of the labor or materials used. Holmes used his intelligence and carefully contemplated every action to make sure it would be virtually impossible for anyone to catch him. In the top two floors of the 162 by 50 foot three story hotel there were trap doors, asphyxiation chambers, and blowtorches in the walls to torture and kill the people working in and staying at the hotel and a dissection table, crematory, and
What would you think if you found a body in your neck of the woods that was missing all its legs and arms? They identified two of the murders but over twelve were found and some say this may have been as high as twenty. The murders happened in Cleveland Ohio on a road called Kings Barry Run. “More than 80 years later, the identity of the Mad Butcher of Kingsbury Run remains one of Cleveland’s greatest mysteries.” “Some people called it the Mad Butcher of Kingsbury Road’’. Seven men and five women were killed. Two people were identified as Florence G. Polillo and Edward Andrassy. No others were identified. Some think he is still out there wanting to kill more people. Murders took place in 1935-1938 the people were murdered and dismembered.
After he killed the old man he dismembered the old man by cutting off his head and then the arms and then the legs. Then the narrator took up three planks from the flooring of his chamber and deposited the body parts between the scantlings so that no eye not even his could see it. The narrator felt like he was going to get away with the crime that he committed but he was dead wrong. The narrator started to hear a knocking at the door and he went to answer and it was three policemen who said that the neighbor heard a shriek and suspected that their might have been foul play. What was smart about the madman was that he acted all calmly and peaceful to the policeman even though he had to because he committed the crime and he didn’t want the police to suspect anything but this shows that he had a few screws loose in his head. The narrator shows the police around the house, he even brings the police to the scene of the crime upstairs in the old mans bedroom this showed that he was very comfortable and not worried. He even had the audacity to grab chairs for the policemen for them to sit on in the old mans bedroom. He even pulled up a chair and sat at the very spot where the corpse was. This wasn’t a very safe move for the narrator if I was him I would just have the police search around the house like they already did and if they didn’t suspect something I would try to make them leave in a nice way so that they don’t
Mysteries have always held great fascination for the human mind, not least because of the aura that surrounds them and the realm of the Unknown into which they delve. Coupled with the human propensity of being particularly curious about aspects which elude the average mind, the layer of intrigue that glosses over such puzzles makes for a heady combination of the literary and the popular. In the canon of detective fiction worldwide, no detective has tickled the curious reader’s imagination and held it in thrall as much as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes. The 221-B, Baker Street, London ‘amateur’ detective combines a rare blend of intellectual prowess and sharp wit to crack a series of baffling riddles.
The most prominent thing is he murders the man then cuts him up. No one in their right mind would murder someone nevertheless cut the person the murder into tiny pieces and hide them in the floorboards. Yes people murder people all the time but premeditated murder is very different then homicide. This also goes on with the second point that he waits for the man to fall asleep then watches him. Every night leading up the murder the narrator sneaks into the room and ever so slowly sneaks his head into the room and stares at the man for hours on end. This is very creepy and displays characteristics of a
Later there is a noise complaint and the police come over to the narrator's house. The police
He had ratted out on himself. And after that, the author thought the police did it.Here’s a clue on Page 94:”My head ached, and I fancied a ringing in my ears:but still they sat and still chatted. The ringing became more distinct:-it continued and became more distinct:I talked more freely to get rid of the feeling:but it continued and gained definitiveness-until at length,I found that the noise was NOT within my ears…..” and another example on Page 94,”It grew louder---louder---LOUDER!!!!!!!!And the men still chatted pleasantly, and smiled. Was it possible they heard not?-no,no!!They heard………..Villains!!I shrieked, dissemble no more!I admit the deed--tear up the planks!!!--here,here!!--it is the beating of his hideous heart! The police had no idea it was the author, but they got it out of him one way or
I was walking to the party I was invited to. But nobody was there, so I assumed that I was first to arrive there. While I was waiting for them to arrive I went to go get a drink until Mr. Green and the others came through the door. While we were at a party, we heard somebody scream from inside the kitchen. Mr. Boddy was laying on the floor dead. With him on the floor was a knife, and a rope that his hands and feet were tied with. Now we were thinking who was the murder.
The noise grew louder and he eventually yelled and told the cops where to find the body and what he had done to the old man. In the end it was his own madness that gave him away. The same beating heart that caused him to kill the man, caused him to confess to the murder. “"Villains!" I shrieked, "dissemble no more! I admit the deed! --tear up the planks! Here, here! --It is the beating of his hideous heart!"(Poe 5)
He couldn’t believe it, even after the information had sunk in, his brother was dead and the worst part, he had to examine the crime scene. So he slowly got out of his car, took a shaky breath and walked up the pitch black lane to his brother's house. Ducking under the yellow “DO NOT ENTER” tape, he finally was at the door. He peered inside and then slowly walked in. He had already saw the door hanging from it's hinges alone, looking like a broken person. Farther on into the house he found his brother's badge, lying on the ground. The crimson liquid still pooling around his dead body and leaking from a severed blade gouged in h...
