Rather than being located on the side of a cliff, this gem can be found right in the heart of town and is well known for being wheelchair friendly. This museum highlights life in Gran Canaria before the conquistadors arrived and displays the remains of cave homes dug out of volcanic rock. The most renowned exhibition by far though is the painted cave. Due to prior degradation of this rare archaeological find, it is viewed through glass and in short 4-minute increments, which is intended to preserve this rich, historical site. Reservations are highly recommended as tours are limited to 20 guests per …show more content…
This island boasts a less touristy experience and you’ll probably be able to find a secluded beachfront even during the summer months. If you’re looking for golden sand and turquoise waters, look no further than Grandes Playas de Corralejo. For those with special needs, there are walkways and ramps to help get around on the sand. This beach even has a team dedicated to assisting disabled travelers so they can enjoy a relaxing day.
One of the favorite hotspots on this island is Corralejo and a visit here would not be complete without sampling Spanish tapas. The local’s favorite haunt is Tapas Oscar, fully accessible for wheelchair users. Not only can you tempt your taste buds with culinary delights such as roasted pork and pepperoni and pepper laden potatoes, but you can cleanse your palate with crisp, local wines. Another plus is you only pay for the wine you drink, so if you drink a ½ bottle, you only pay for ½ bottle. What can be better than eating scrumptious tapas and sipping on wine in Feurteventura?

After an eventful night of dancing at nightclubs, I never expected to have the most flavorful tacos reach my mouth. At four in the morning we found ourselves at a small, local hole-in-the-wall where most tourists would not be caught dead at. Even though they were the greatest tacos I have ever had, what I ate most while I was there was tortilla soup. Topped with melted cheese and strips of fried tortillas I devoured a bowl from a place our friend Oscar worked at, Margarita Grille. I am not a soup person but this is something I still crave weekly, as well as the salsa they served. Fresh roasted tomatoes were crushed at our table and mixed with garlic, onions, jalapenos, cilantro and juices of a lime. A scoop of the colorful vegetables on a warm, salted tortilla chip will satisfy your taste buds and keep you going for more. Because Margarita Grille was only a couple blocks from our hotel in the “old town” of Puerto Vallarta, we ate there five or six times. Being an outdoor restaurant, there were always stray cats meandering around for scraps of dropped food. People were told not to feed them, but I think they were a pleasant reminder of being away from
The world is filled with many gorgeous lands, but Puerto Rico absolutely tops them all. This land is particularly intriguing due to its vast variety of beaches filled with people of all different ethnicities as if it were a melting pot. When experiencing these beaches the senses are overwhelmed with the smell of fresh salt water, foods ranging from fruits that are both sweet and tangy like candy. As soon as person steps on to one of these beaches, he or she can instantly hear people splashing and playing as if he or she were kids in a swimming pool during the summer. Whiles music playing the sounds of the island a music that is infectious and made your body want to succumb to the sounds of the all while the sun warms the air around them like a heater in the winter.
One of the best reasons to visit Punta Cana is for the beaches. The water is clear, turquoise, and warm, and the waves are perfect - not too still, not too strong. Since Punta Cana is a frequently travelled spot for vacationers, the resorts tend to keep their beaches extremely clean, too, which is a nice touch. Tractors even run daily to clear away the pesky seaweed! The people of the Dominican are very nice. Those that work at the resorts are always willing to help
Cilantro Tamales isn’t a typical Mexican restaurant. Upon entering you are immediately greeted with warm smiles, and are led to a bamboo chaired table with all sorts of hot sauces and other sizzling toppings to greet you. The air is filled with spices. The cinnamon and jalapeño aromas mingle and make the mood rich. Every dish on the menu seems delicious and it is always difficult to decide what to order. I always think that any dish which I don’t try gives me the excuse to come back again. Everyone who eats at Cilantro Tamales gets to have an unlimited amount of their fresh, homemade salsa with warm, salty tortilla chips. The thick chunks of tomatoes and onions with hot peppers and cilantro make a perfect combination for anyone’s taste buds. The waiters and waitresses carry immense trays burdened by the weight of great tasting meals, and each dish has enough on it to make mountains jealous. The delicious food is not the only reason Cilantro Tamales stands out. The restaurant itself is rich with culture and flavor. All the walls are a shade of bright yellow or sun burnt orange and red, which add to the Mexican feel. On the walls are historical black and white pictures of Mexico and its people which act as cultural memories of times past. The Latin and Mexican dance music can always be heard in the restaurant. I sometimes can’t help but move to its invigorating rhythm. An interesting facet to the restaurant is the hand crafted pottery.

The tapa is a way to sample a variety of Spanish foods. This method of eating is the cornerstone of Spanish cuisine. A tapa is a small dish of food, similar to an appetizer in the United States. Mainly in bars, they are served throughout the day. No single food makes up a tapa; it can be seafood, vegetables, or meat. Tapas normally are eaten primarily at two times of the day. The first is at or around 1:00pm for an early-afternoon snack. Normally, tapas are served prior to a large afternoon ...
The Heritage Foundation says that Spain is number sixty nine on the scale of most economically free out of one hundred eighty countries. This puts Spain in the “moderately free” category. This beach is good for swimming. It can be viewed across the Ria Formosa natural pack. It can be accessed with ferry from the Tavira city on the mainland to the beach which also makes the small journey an adventure. The management of this beach is generous and friendly by making a kind of reservation for naturists. This beach is also known as Praia das Cascas.
Going to Mount Teide (temperature in the summit is colder). Regardless of what you will be up to in Tenerife, going to Mount Teide should be part of the itinerary. If you’re planning to go up the cable car, be sure to bring warmer clothing since the air is thinner and the temperature in the summit can be extremely cold.
Ever since Sunset Beach has been officially opened to the public, there has been a drastic increase of tourists present. Television programs concluded that at least a thousand people visit the beach everyday. Reasons for their stay are that they feel comfortable with the environment that surrounds the beach front, people who are at the beach are joyous and numerous activities to enjoy, and the fresh scent of the sparkly waters, make the visitors feel calm and pleasurable. So I decided to take a trip there.
