Kayleigh Slusher, a three years old baby girl in Napa Calif. the little baby girl lives with her mother and the mother’s boyfriend, while the real father is in jail. During that time, police often gone the house to visit and check up on the little child well-being and making sure everything is ok, the mother was check on also. On Jan. 30, Kayleigh’s body was found in a suitcase inside a freezer that was left for three days, the body of the child was also found with bruises and sexual assault, the mother (Krueger) and her boyfriend Ryan Scott Warner was arrested at El Cerrito Bart station near a restaurant.
The Police report that there were several calls reporting of the parents were using drugs, and not feeding little Kayleigh, although the police also indicated that the house were safe environment for the child and there was no indication of abusing, the police did not connect child welfare because of no evidence of any kind. The mother and the boyfriend are being charge of felony “assault on a child, causing death to the little baby girl and both admitted of killing the little baby girl, both of the charge are includes special circumstances while the prosecutors await on a piece of information before convicting the mother and the boyfriend. The new also indicated that both of them are being held 25 years to life in prison if they are found convicted.
As for Kayleigh’s body is being released to the family (grandparents) and the relative, the funeral are being held private service in memorial of the death that was cause by the mother and the boyfriend.
After researching this story of Kayleigh Slusher the three theories criminology that would be appropriate for this:

...ng her daughter. It also stated to me that not looking after a child in this case and letting the boyfriend doing whatever to the child is consider neglect homicide and voluntary manslaughter.
In my conclusion, I think the boyfriend should not get 25 years to life in prison, but a death penalty, I can understand that a person killing another person that is also an adult like yourself, but this is a child, a three years old little girl that knows nothing, unable to live her full life. The boyfriend did not show any remorse, the mother cried, but also considering of her neglecting her own daughter too. Krueger and the boyfriend went too far for what they had committed, there shouldn’t be any pity, so in conclusion by what the mother and boyfriend had done, to have a voluntary manslaughter, neglect homicide, and without shown any remorse for this crime, death penalty.
