One afternoon, a little boy and his friend entered a terrifying graveyard, 2 miles away from their town. "Pepper, I don't think we should go,” Brando told his friend. "It'll be fun,” she stated without hesitation. When they entered inside, they walked together, laughing and telling their fears to each other. When they hit a significant grave, Pepper yelled at Brandon, who was looking at the other graves. Rows of tombstones stood erect in silence to the left and right, in front and behind, like a sea of the dead. Some were crumbled with the weathering of centuries, some were smooth marble with new black writing and laid with floral tributes. Most though, were overgrown and unkempt, for now even their mourners …show more content…
had joined them under the clay soil. "Come check this out.” Pepper hollered. Brando quickly ran and looked. Suddenly he felt a hand grab his right ankle. "Ahhh help! Something has my leg!” Brando shouted. Pepper ran to go help Brando. “Ahh, there’s something attached to you! Ahhh it looks terrifying. It has one ear missing and both its lips have been bitten off, perhaps that was its death-kiss that turned him into one of the undead.” Pepper chuckled. One hand looked like it had been mangled and his right bicep was chewed away. He made a low growling moan that chilled the innocent kids’ blood. “Hurry, help me get it off!” Brando yelled. Pepper stomped on the dead man’s hand. It let go and the two kids ran for their lives. They ran and jumped the graveyards wire fence. Once they had lost the creepy figure they stopped to catch their breath. Their little souls were terror-stricken. “Holy moly, what was that?” Brando breathed heavily as he questioned. “I’m not so sure, but it sure looked terrifying!” Pepper replied. “I think we should research this.” Pepper reached into her pocket for her handy dandy iPhone 24 to research what can happen under the graveyard.
What she found was startling. She found that some years ago some scientist had come up with a chemical that can make the dead bodies come alive. The scientist had experimented with dead rats, and wanted to experiment with humans. He didn’t have dead bodies to experiment this, so he decided to go to the graveyard and dump the chemical over the tombs. “It seems like some scientist was planning the dead bodies to come alive. We should go back to see if that’s a possible explanation.” Pepper realized. “Ok, but I don’t want to get close. Let’s stay back, we don’t know what they are or if they are dangerous.” Brando proposed. Pepper and Brando started to make their way back to the graveyard, and by that time the sun had set. They made it to the graveyard to see what was happening. The zombies had their arms outstretched and all they could hear was their moaning noises. Pepper watched as they just bumped into the gate multiple times. “What do you think we should do?” Brando asked. “We should make a plan. We have to tell our friends what is out there and they have to stick with us. We should make a survival kit with food, water, and weaponry with sharp objects.” Pepper …show more content…
replied. “Ok, let’s have Ziggy come and help us.” Brando declared as Ziggy would be the person to help. They were on a mission to go get Ziggy to come help them. They dashed to Brando’s house and explained what was going on to his parents. They told Brando’s mom that they had to go out and tell their friends that there are strange deadly creatures out there. “Wait, you ran here just to tell me that there are some creatures out there and they are deadly. You are having crazy hallucinations, but if this is just to go to your friends’ house why didn’t you just ask?” Brando’s mom acquired. “We don’t have time to lollygag, let’s get on with this!” Brando demanded. They got in the car and zoomed past the stoplight when a dead man somehow jumped on the car. The zombie could only be describe as looking like some kind of horrific burn victim, for it had no skin on its face. Its face looked like it had been chewed off my other zombies before it reanimated. The lack of eyelids gave its eyeballs a popping look as they swiveled in their sockets, searching for its next meal. Its hair was grey and pulled into a granny's bun, like some dear old lady, but whoever it had been, it was now the enemy. The strange dead people had escaped the graveyard and were on the loose. The kids jumped out of the car and bolted down to Ziggy’s house. When they finally reached the house they banged on the door as loud as they could. “Hurry there are dead men trying to kill us! Open the door!” Brando shrieked. Ziggy opened the door.
Brando looked frightened and he was out of breath while Pepper was calm and collected. “Hey man, what are you guys doing out here?” Ziggy asked calmly. “There are weird creatures out here. Help us!” Brando blurted between his breaths. “Oh, I think I know what those are. Those are zombies, they can eat your brains.” Ziggy remembered. “Well what do we do?” Brando yelled. “You have to kill the brain. Here, come with me, I have been planning this day since I watched Dead Man 101.” Ziggy responded as he welcomed them into the house and down to the basement. Brando and Pepper were amazed at what Ziggy had been hiding for so long. There were rows and shelves filled with hand guns and swords. It looked like he had raided a gun store. “Are you ready to suit up and go after all those dead men?” Ziggy asked. “Oh yeah I’m ready to get out there.” Pepper responded. Pepper, Brando, and Ziggy all got ready to go outside and beat some zombie brain. They wore bulletproof vests, a hand gun and a sword holster. They wanted to kill as many zombies as possible before they started multiplying. They started their adventure and went
outside. “Ahhh!” Brando screamed. “Uh oh,” Ziggy announced. “It looks like they’ve already multiplied.” Pepper noticed. “It’s ok, we are going out there and blasting their heads off!” Ziggy claimed excitedly. They approached the massive heard of the zombies. The horde of zombies was coming closer and closer, their smell becoming even more unbearable. They had deformed bodies, and limbs sticking out at odd angles. Their bloodshot eyes darted over the land, looking for food. Reaching arms, flesh peeling, in short, they were terrifyingly grotesque. Groans and moans came from their open mouths, wanting human meat. “Ahh, these are way uglier in person!” Ziggy shouted. “What do I do?” Brando questioned. “Let’s start shooting them in the head!” Ziggy replied. “Ah one is coming at me!” Pepper yelled. Its eyes had been gouged by its last victim, one last desperate attempt to stay alive as its jaws ripped out its throat. Its snake-like brown-grey intestines dragged in the dirt as it staggered toward Pepper using only it's ears and nose for guidance. Pepper shot at it. It halted and the bones in its stiffened neck creak as it kept coming after Pepper. Then with a snapping of its jaws it lurched in the other direction. Pepper aimed at its head this time and killed it. Then from behind it came a moan, and another to the right, the hoard was closing in on the three kids. “Good work Pepper, now shoot at the rest of them!” Ziggy yelled. Bang! Bang! Bang! Pepper’s gun went off to kill three more zombies right in the head. More people were coming outside to see what was going on. Most of them were frightened and went to get any weapons they had. They then worked as a team to stop the horrific zombies from advancing. They shot at all the zombies head and watched as their rotted, pink brains splattered all over the ground. Bang, bang the guns all around went off to kill more zombies. The moaning got quieter and you could hear now. They were doing good keeping the zombies from going anywhere. After the first zombies were killed there weren’t a lot that came after the kids. They had killed most of them and by that time it was way past the kids bedtime so they decided to take a break and kill the rest as they saw them wondering by. They all went back to Ziggy’s place to get some rest. “Wow, what a night! I think we just say the first zombie apocalypse that has ever happened.” Ziggy pointed out. “That was pretty horrific, I have to say.” Brando mentioned. “Yeah, I think I’m going to have nightmares from how ugly they are!” Pepper announced. “Oh man. Well there are still some out there but those will get lost out in an alleyway until we shoot them in the head.” Ziggy mentioned. “At least we got some help from our neighbors to make it easier to kill them. They were scary.” Pepper added. “Yeah. Well that tired me out. I’m going to sleep.” Ziggy yawned. They all fell asleep within three minutes. After that they killed the rest of the zombies and they made the news reports of how they saved the town from the horrifying zombies. “All you need are some good people to come and help you when your town is in danger.”
World War Z was written as a collection of stories from all around the world about the war against zombies. These stories cover the events that happened before and after the war. I really appreciate how Brooks took the initiative to describe the initial stages of the infestation all the wa...

Do you ever wonder what you would do if you were being chased by a zombie? Last October on the weekend before Halloween, I got to find out the answer to that very important question. My friends Ashley, Anna, Vikram, and I decided to go to the Great America Fright Fest. It’s a very unique event where the whole park is decorated for halloween and filled with lots of scary attractions for the entire month. It had been a sweltering day for late October filled with lots of cotton candy and rollercoasters, and as the sun sank lower into the sky the real fun began.
“We have a small emergency situation and everyone needs to be moved to the deck with their life belts with them.” He retorted.
"It makes you wonder if humans are the residents he was talking about," George said. He relaxed in the bar stool. "You know they tried to evict me once. I was young, right out of college..."
“Why did you bring me here then?!” She asks frantically looking around to make sure there wasn’t a ghost around. Which is kind of funny, because they're not real.

BANG! You fire another round into the horde of zombies’ lurching toward you, and reach for another clip. Then you realize that you’re out of ammo, and there’s still loads of rotting corpses walking right at you. You take out your handy combat knife and prepare for a fight.
When he finds himself before the tombstone, something is different. A fresh spray of roses has been laid upon the grave. Kneeling down, he runs a finger along one rose, the blossom still curling with life. Pale petals drenched in dew, leaves like wax, thorns jagged and defiant. His eyes search the grave for a trace of this new intruder. He is curious but miffed; he had believed himself to be the only visitor here. He felt a sense of belonging with the grave, as though his own name should be scrawled beneath that of the deceased. He wishes that he had felt closer with the fleshless creature now sheltered within the grave. They had been friends and almost lovers, nearly united as one, all the fragments fitting together--but then the passing of time tore them in half. Where life has failed them, death is infinitely more skilled; it brings them unbearably close.
Cemetery is the last peaceful place for our restless souls. It is the place of our final end. It is not just a place of tombstone and grave, it is the burial ground of our love ones. When I visited the cemetery for the first time. The first thing I noticed was the tombstones and the graves. Some graves had flower on them. Few trees were scattered throw out the land. I heard the wind as it passes through the tombstones and made hissing sound. I felt quietness and peacefulness in this confined area, which was fortified by invisible fences. Unlike the other places, the link to the out side world was cutout here. As I sat there I began to see something different about this place. I saw history of mankind being buried here.
Prior to the nineteenth centuries, people were so terrified of being buried alive that they often included i...
The oxides of Chris’s flesh and blood did, of course, go up the stack at the crematorium. But they weren’t Chris. What had to be seen was that the Chris I missed so badly was not an object but a pattern, and that although the pattern included the flesh and blood of Chris, that was not all there was to it. The pattern was larger than Chris and myself, and related us in ways
