The dangers of the electromagnetic can be low on danger and high on danger. Depending on the amount of how much the body absorbs verifies the lethality of the EMFs.
Humans are extremely sensitive to EMFs. Yes if a person absorbs too much energy it can lead potential to death, but if they absorb small portions it can lead can lead to nausea, paranoia, and many more small affects. The US National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has issued cautionary advisories on EMFs. Everyone is exposed to EMFs; they come in forms such as from power lines, basements, cell phones, or even x-rays and other medical equipment. Basically where people least expect to get radiation sickness occurs with the smallest things we think are harmless, which turn out to be very deadly. Many people are exposed to the potential dangers of EMFs and many have died because of electromagnetic radiation. It causes leukemia and cancer and sometime affects human DNA. They are very dangerous and people are exposed to it very so often and yet people do not realize it. Yet EMFs have been used for medical reasons they are still harmful to the human body if too much is absorbed.
The affects from small amounts of EMF radiation can cause a person to become nauseous, drowsed, and sometimes see things that are not there. Sometimes when a person Is down in a basement where EMF readings are sometimes very high and they expose themselves to it. This causes not just nauseas, but makes them think that something is there with them. When a person is alone in a basement and its dark and they absorb too much EMF’s they come to the conclusion that someone is there with them. This causes paranoia. And some Paranormal Experts state that when a person is exposed to...

... people about the dangers of EMF Radiation.
There is potential treatment for Electromagnetic sensitivity. Yet doctors just state to limit the amount of time spend on the electronic devices. Doctors even limit the amount of time people take x-rays. The doctors know exactly what will cause EMF hypersensitivity and they try their best to warn people about the cause.
They have been many ways people had tried to avoid this cause yet it very difficult. They try to bury the wires and yet they still give out the EMFs. They try to warn people about the dangers of some electrical devices. Yet some people still get sick.
Electromagnetic fields do affect health. They may cause some minor headaches and fatigue to cancer and much more. It is very dangerous to be exposed to EMFs for quite a while. They do affect people’s health and they are warned about the dangers.
...ending on the size and tolerances of the patients, the voltages could have ranged anywhere form 70 to 130 volts. As a direct effect from the large amounts of electricity being imposed into the patient’s body they will lose consciousness almost immediately. The shocks sent them in to convulsions or seizures and therefore increased their insulin levels. After a patient regains consciousness, he or she will not remember any of the events of being shocked. First, let’s take a look at the ever present cons of ECT. When first brought into practice, the jolts of electricity would often cause muscle tears and broken bones, “routine use of hypnotics and muscle relaxants has eradicated [these] serious complications” (Sienaert 9). Sienaert goes on to say “Today, headache and nausea are the most common immediate side effects (9). Another, more serious, side effect of ECT is memory loss. Cyrzyk states “a systematic review of patients’ experiences . . . confirmed permanent memory loss in at least 30 per cent of cases (24). Cyrzyk goes on to say “memory disability (loss of working memory) and cognitive disability (loss of higher mental functions of cognition) to varying degrees” (24) should also be included in the list of the adverse effects of ECT. Another concern with ECT is informed consent, or lack thereof. Cyrzyk states “half of the participants reported that they had not received sufficient information about the ECT procedure and the possible side effects” (24). Also, while many think of ECT as a treatment for schizophrenia, patients with schizophrenia only showed “a short-term, small but significant, improvement” (Sienaert 8). Sienaert...
Electronic controlled devices basically use high voltage, low wattage electrical charges to induce involuntary muscle contractions that cause a subject to be temporarily incapacitated. The weapon system is designed to fire two probes, or darts, that are attached to insulated wires. When the probes make contact with a person, the Taser will produce 50,000 volts of electricity, but only .0021 amps. According to Taser International, Inc. “it is not the volts that are dangerous it is the amps.” Volts are simply the rate the electricity is moving, but amps are the measure of current in the electricity. Taser International (2006)
Being introduced in the early 1900’s, electroconvulsive shock therapy, or ECT, has deemed to be one of the most effectual and least understood treatments in psychiatry. Technically it has distorted in many ways since its conception and is now viewed as a secure and effective treatment of patients with key depressive disorder, schizophrenia, manic episodes, and other grave mental turmoil’s. Nevertheless, the neurobiological transformations critical to the therapeutic triumph of ECT have not yet been fully understood. Such a knowledge fissure has led to an erroneous representation of ECT in the media and fallacy about ECT being held by many patients and even health care professionals.
Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) was first developed in 1938. It has a history of abuse, exploited as a means of punishing or controlling people in mental hospitals, consequently ECT had poor reputation with negative depictions, but since then it has drastically improved with confirmed effectiveness. Despite the improvement in techniques, the use of ECT continues to decline since the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE,2003) states that it should only be administered to severely depressed patients for whom psychotherapy and medication have proved ineffective or when the condition is considered potentially life threatening. For example, when there is a risk of suicide or risk to others because ECT has much quicker results than any other forms of treatment for depression. Overall, the aim of this PowerPoint is to provide information on how ECT is administered, how or why it works, benefits, side effects, appropriateness and effectiveness.
Millions of people around the world use cell phones on a daily basis and people hardly realize the terminal risks. Cell phones may seem completely harmless, but they actually emit radio waves that can be hazardous towards the human body. Each time someone makes a call or receives a call, a type of cancerous radiation is given off by the cell phone in order for the user to communicate with the person on the other side of the line. Since the amount of cell phone users has rose rapidly, more people are being exposed to this kind of radiation. As cell phones undergo advancements, people are starting to use them more often, leading to an increase in the amount and length of calls each day. Some believe that these radio waves do no such harm to your body due to the radiation wave being weak but in reality, exposure to any kind of radiation is never safe. Radio waves might not affect the human body immediately, but after a long period of time the effects are bound to reveal. Cell phones can increase the risk of cancer because its radiation affects brain cells, causes tumors, and is hazardously absorbed by the tissues in the body.
In the 19th century was when electricity really started and became a widespread of innovations (A,93). During 1967, the law required master electricians to be licensed and have insurance (E). Unbelievably, there is electricity within our body using the nerve ...
At one hospital near Baltimore, one study involved taking x-ray images of the brains of epileptic children in the hospital. Researchers drilled holes into the skulls of these young patients, drained the fluid surrounding their brains, and then pumped air, or helium into the skull in place of the fluid to allow clear x-rays of the brain to be taken. This fluid protects the brain from damage but makes x-ray images cloudy. This technique produced horrendous side-effects including severe headaches, dizziness, seizures and vomiting. In the worst cases, the technique caused permanent brain damage and paralysis. In another study, entitled "The use of deep temporal leads in the study of psychomotor epilepsy", metal probes were inserted into patients ' brains. This among other atrocities were the norm for many institutions taking care of disabled
As we continue to develop as a society, more and more people are looking for newer methods to help themselves become and stay healthy. One of the ways we have done this was to emulate remedies of the past. A good example of this would be the use of magnets. Magnets were used in early civilizations across the globe. The use of magnets has been found in medical journals of the early Chinese. The Ancient Greeks used magnetic rocks, lodestone, as a healing tool (http://www.magicnet.net/~daw/html/modern.html). Up till today the popularity of magnets has grown tremendously. The idea of magnetic therapy has caught the interest of the public mainly because of its ability to treat pain without the use of drugs or the invasive techniques of surgery.
...reacted to the electrical stimulation. By the 20th Century, doctors used this technology in an experimental treatment of the skin, bone and muscle growth, and healing wounds (according to the Journal of the Advancement in Medicine).
The initial ethical guideline presented in the IEEE Code of Ethics states “to accept responsibility in making decisions consistent with the safety, health and welfare of the public, and to disclose promptly factors that might endanger the public or the environment”. In regards to health, safety and well-being of the public and environment, many would consider this to be the most important rule presented. Professions in electrical and electronic engineering operate in designing electrical syst...
Electrical hazards could include vegetation or equipment fires, electrical burns, or electrocutions to humans or animals. Electrical hazards could take place anywhere near energized conductors or facilities.
There are sometime thing that even you can’t accomplish be yourself, If you know you can't do something ask someone else for help when working as an electrician. Safety is the most important thing that is needed when being an electrician and working with electricity. When asking for help your co-workers will help you, because you help each thought out the whole project. That is friendship that is alway needed in a job.Safety is the first priority that is needed to be followed without anyone telling you. Don’t joke around when you are working near electricity. You should be serious in willing to help when you are needed or when you need help.
Cell phones represent a type of technology that has been around for more than over fifty years; it has only been recently that many people began to use cell phones as a major part of their everyday life. In the past cell phones were for business people to conduct their business, but in today’s society every one owns a cell phone. Cell phones are interesting, useful and also play a major role in our life’s bringing people closer and keeping in touch with one another. Most people do not know and understand the physics of a cell phone. Cell phones are also known as cellular phone, hand phone, and commonly known as a mobile phone. A cell phone is an electric device that can make and receive calls, over and automatic repeat request (radio link petrol -RLP) used over wireless air interdace.it us a portable telephone that uses and receive phone signals.it also divides that earth into small regional called cells.in the resent estimates there are over 190 million people using mobile phone. One of the primary health concerns is the impact of cell phone radiation, by radio waves by which it operates.
