Although Danny is only four-eight, he overcomes great odds by leading a team who rejected him for being small. Since Mike Lupica made the protagonist a short elementary height, it creates a dramatic effect when his father asks him to coach, and then beats his old travel team. Danny Walker was used as a symbol to represent a great basketball mind behind a small middle schooler. The dedication and work ethic Danny has for basketball before and after he coaches the Warriors prove John Wooden’s quote, as he succeeds in being an on-court coach and star

In opening sentence she states, “I was just counseled not to be nervous, that’s almost impossible.” This was the first sentence of her speech, it opened it up with a bit of humor as the entire crowd she wass talking to laughed. The feedback she received from her audience almost gives her slight ease, she feels like she has their full attention. Being nominated to the highest court house in the nation must have really caused her excitement. As she is talking she sometimes slows down to a point where it seems she doesn’t want to lose track of what she is saying. This can be due to psychological noise she might have been experiencing while delivering her speech. The excitement of being nominated for the high ranking position would have made most people have wondering thoughts about the future that awaits

It was hilarious whenever Fred Sanford of the hit series Sanford and Son used to fake his heart attack saying that famous phrase, “I’m coming Elizabeth” or what about him telling Aunt Ester how ugly she was. No one took that type of comedy to the heart and it was intended to hurt no one. It was all for a laugh. Now in today’s time there are new shows on television such as The Chapelle Show, which is hosted and directed by the comedian Dave Chapelle. He did not seem nervous at all. It came out natural for him to perform. He did not use any weird hand gestures or pace back and forth. The only thing I did notice, I guess since he is a big guy, he was sweating. I could see it on his forehead and arms, and he also noticed it but, of course he made a joke out of it.

The typical episode of the critically acclaimed, indie-darling, sitcom 30 Rock focuses on the lives of the writers, producers, executives and love interests of those involved in the production of a fictional sketch comedy television show called TGS with Tracy Jordan. 30 Rock is widely known as a show that deals with race, gender and class issues from multiple, humorous perspectives. Yet watching Season Five, Episode Twenty, a viewer could grow uncomfortable at the racial generalizations. The episode is entitled “Queen of Jordan” and is intended to parody the Real Housewives franchise of reality television. The episode was shot and aired as if it were a Bravo network reality show, entirely separate from 30 Rock, although it features the antics of the usual cast of 30 Rock. Although the critically acclaimed television show 30 Rock parodies the characterization of personhood on reality television, characters such as Angie Jordan (Sherri Shepherd) and her crew are still derivatives of these three classical African American stereotypes. 30 Rock’s uses these stereotypes to parody reality television and the humor stems from laughing at the racists rather than the race of the characters.

When we were out of my neighborhood I asked where we were going and Kolin said we were going to Dre's apartment first; afterwards we would take the Metro down to Northwest because he had to meet up with some people for a drug deal. Mark began to roll a joint and he said, "Look, I scored some KB off this idiot high-school kid who thought it was swag. It's my treat ladies." We rolled up to Dre's apartment, drank a little and hot-boxed the van. As we sat there smoking, Kolin, Mark, and Dre began to talk about the recent events. "That party last Friday was fucking stupid. I can't believe they gave you shit at the door," said Kolin.
