Many argue that the “American Dream” is almost impossible to obtain nowadays. Needing a vehicle, home, job and possibly a family, the american dream seems out of reach to most but really it isn’t. It will take a lot of effort and dedication, but the “American Dream” is attainable to anyone. Some will say that you won’t need to go to college or trade school, this is highly not recommended. To get a good job a college degree or a trade school certificate is required. It’s almost impossible to get a good paying job without further schooling after high school. To pay for the schooling one is going to need a job. Most start with fast food or working in a convenience/grocery store. Obtaining a job can prove difficult if no one is hiring or if the one looking for a job does not really try, maybe put some applications out and hopefully get hired. Since they have to pay for school though and textbooks for school they get a student loan. Everyone tries to avoid getting a student loan because it will come back to bite them, reaching insane amounts and could possibly never be payed off for the rest of the student’s life. Everyone wants to have a nice car for their first car, but many settle on whatever they can get that can run. Still, unless they know someone or if they get amazingly lucky, the car is going to cost them an arm. Putting them further into the whole of money they do not have. If they are smart they will wait and just walk to their job or take public transportation. There is always an alternative but most people don’t want to take the alternative. Looking into used car dealerships is not a bad plan but the buyer should be cautious when buying used. If there is something wrong with the car and they don’t know when they buy and it breaks down, they are out of a means of transportation unless they get a friend or again take the public
