I nodded and got up, reminding myself to breath and follow their lead. Charlie embraced me once more. “Thank you for a wonderful evening.” He said. “You’re welcome and thank you for a wonderful evening,” I said and smiled at him. Charlie reached out and cradled my face in his hands and said, “Anna, you have nothing to worry about - this, us; it’s going to be good. It’s going to be better than good. It’s going to be great.” We stared into each other’s eyes, and I took comfort in his reassurances that we were good. Charlie helped me put on my robe and wrapped a towel around himself. I scrunched up my bathing suit and placed it in the pocket of my robe. We kissed again and then walked hand in hand across the yard to the house. Charlie opened the door for me, and we went up into the kitchen. David was there on the phone. He had gotten everything cleaned up and was having a business discussion regarding the acquisition of a company. David looked at Charlie and I while he spoke. I felt he was trying to figure out if we had done it or not. I wasn’t giving up anything. I kept my poker face on. Charlie looked at David and said, “I’m going to go get changed. Let me know when you two are ready for dessert.” Charlie nodded at David and David nodded back. I smiled at the nodding going on between them. These two really did have a gentleman’s agreement. Charlie kissed me on the cheek and walked away. David finished his phone call and hung up. We stood there smiling at each other. "I apologize for the phone call. There 's always something going on." David said. "Oh, that 's fine. I don 't mind." “Did you enjoy the pool?” “I did. I love the water; I love to swim.” “Charlie loves to swim too. Whenever he’s missing, I know where to find him... ... middle of paper ... ...ted the bathroom, David had my by bed turned down, and Charlie was turning on the fireplace. The one in my room was a gas fireplace, and Charlie had a fire blazing in a flash. David motioned for me to get into the bed. I got in and slid into the middle. David got in behind me and repositioned me so that my back was to him with my head on his chest. Charlie closed the glass doors on the fireplace and turned off the lights and got into my bed on the other side. He was lower in the bed and was turned in towards me with his head resting on my breasts. I lay there sandwiched between them, with both of them holding onto me. We talked for a little bit, and every once in a while, true to form Charlie would say something funny and we would giggle. We fell asleep that way the three of us embraced. I slept so soundly through the night. I don’t think any of us moved an inch.
...rned my head toward his, tucked my long brown hair behind my ear, took my face with both of his hands and told me that everything would be okay. Ben pulled my face to his a gently kissed my forehead and then pulled my head to his chest, which was warm, and strong.
Charlie smiled as he turned his attention to the horses, obviously uncomfortable with the conversation. Turning to check on Danny, Charlie grew concerned. He looked positively peaked. “Are you feeling alright, Danny?” she asked, turning in her seat to look at him.
A month went by of us packing, getting ready, and us counting down the days until we left for Florida and then Puerto Rico. The day came that we were leaving for Florida. We were in the car for 5 hours. We finally got to the hotel and we went to dinner. After that, we went to the pool and then we went to our rooms and went to sleep.
I was in a lake house in lake Gaston with my family. With my dad and my brother. My Brother was 17 and my dad was 39.
Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you again for being here today, for the wonderful gifts, for your good wishes and most of all for your friendship now and in the future. Here's to a wonderful evening.
I was instantly overcome with an insurmountable feeling of safety. I see your face nuzzling my side, i don't question it. I put my arm gently around you, trying not to wake you up. Unbeknownst to me, you were already awake and you look up and smile at me. I wrap my arm around you and you pull yourself closer to me. We laid like that for hours, not talking, just the soft patter of rain on the widow. After we decide enough is enough we get out of bed and go downstairs to watch some TV, I think Supernatural was on, but I can't really remember. All I know is that you loved it. A couple hours pass and you tell me that you're hungry. So I get off my lazy ass and make you some of the best stir fry you have had in your life. After we pigged out I figured that we shouldn't just sit on those calories, and I make you get up for a walk. We both put on light jackets as it's still drizzling and we don't want to get sick. I unlock the door and we step outside, as soon as I shut the door behind us I grab your hand and we
“Morning sweety, you must be famished. I have French toast!” I sat down and smiled, but still did not stop staring at Colton. He giggled,
Phil chewed on his lower lip but nodded his head. Lilly giggled and pointed to Dan as she began to walk away. “You too,” she added.
I went downstairs and found the table we’d sat at last night, there was an empty seat between Finn and Neek, I took it and Finn slid a platter of eggs and coarse bread to me. I ate the meal and leaned on my hand.
It was too tall for me to see over. The backyard was empty except for a few sprinklers. He pulled me through the grass and through a sliding glass door . He let go of my wrist, shut the door, locked it, and pulled the curtain over it. He turned around and looked at me.
As I opened my eyes, I saw him laying there, still sleeping and exploring his deepest thoughts. The brisk morning air nibbled at my nose as the sun, just rising over the mountains, warmed my body. I leaned over and gave him a gentle kiss on his lips to wake him. He opened his eyes slowly and looked over at me with a smile. As he stroked the side of my face with his gentle hand, I felt this chocolate colored skin melt over me. After laying there holding each other in perfect silence, we decided to put our clothes on and go for a morning hike.
Finally, she looked at her watch. “Oops! Its 5:30, I have to be back in time for dinner. It was nice meeting you, Travis!” Sarah skipped down the tracks waving good-bye. I waved back and caught myself grinning.
When I got home I quickly got ready, I ironed my cap and gown, did my make-up and hair, and made my last phone call to Andrew. I called him right before I left and asked him if he was sure he did not want a ride. Again he responded politely and on my way I went. When I got to the high school everyone was taking pictures, laughing, and talking about how they were g...
