My Closet I sat quietly on the couch next to my father. His short muscular arm extended over my head as if to protect his little girl. His fingers got lost in my strands of hair, as I yanked my head forward as if to signal I did not want him to play with my hair. My new baby doll with big blonde ringlets and skin that smelled like a baby’s skin after it has just been powdered, rested in my lap. My meek hands stroked the tiny doll as if it were alive. My father knelt down and kissed my forehead as he said, “Don’t worry, Princess, Mommy will….Oh here she is now!” I sprang from my warm, sheltered seat and sprinted to the front window as quickly as my tiny legs could move. My fingers grasped the long, wooden windowsill and my little pug nose pressed against the window pain. My breath delivered a frosty appearance on the glass as my eyes strained to see my mother step out of her car. My toes ached with pain as I fought to stay in view with the outside world. Too late. I could already hear my mothers graceful footsteps ascend the stairs. She carefully opened the door that entered my kitchen, and I flung myself into her arms. My mother yelped with shock and a hint of exhaustion, “Meggie honey, Mommy is very tired. Please be a little more careful next time.” “Mommy! Mommy! Daddy bought me a new dolly today, her name is, Madeline. Look! Look!” “Oh very nice sweetie. I have a surprise for you too.” “What is it? What is it?” I exclaimed as I jumped rapidly around the kitchen. My mind raced. Was it another doll? Maybe the game I had been wanting? Tinkerbell perfume! That is what it must be. I had always wanted Tinkerbell perfume. Everytime I saw it in a store I would shout and point with such excitement. I thought it had magical powers that would make me fly. My imagination always ran with ideas as most children’ always do. My mother griped my hand tightly and led me into the living room at a slow pace that indicated she was nervous yet excited. She sat me down gently next to my father. Her smile had never been so huge.
Susie’s mother opened the door to let Molly, Susie’s babysitter, inside. Ten-month old Susie seemed happy to see Molly. Susie then observed her mother put her jacket on and Susie’s face turned from smiling to sad as she realized that her mother was going out. Molly had sat for Susie many times in the past month, and Susie had never reacted like this before. When Susie’s mother returned home, the sitter told her that Susie had cried until she knew that her mother had left and then they had a nice time playing with toys until she heard her mother’s key in the door. Then Susie began crying once again.
On November 24, 1694, Voltaire was born François-Marie Arouet to an upper middle-class family in Paris, France. Throughout his life, Voltaire wrote numerous philosophical works including poems, plays, and books. Next to Montesquieu, Locke, Rousseau and others, Voltaire is known as one of the greatest French Enlightenment writers. His works, and the works of other Enlightenment writers, influenced both the French and the American revolutions.
Voltaire was born in 1694, a year that was under the regiment of Louis XIV. At that time, the aristocracy ruled France in an extreme way that most commoners were struggling in poverty. From a middle-class family, Voltaire did not like the political environment of France and the aristocratic system. As a well-educated and intelligent student from the college of Louis-le-Grand, he became a secretary for the French Ambassador. Although his social status was satisfying to most people, Voltaire was more interested in elaborating his witty ideas by words, so he decided to become a writer instead of continuing working for the French Ambassador. His harsh and sarcastic writing style soon made him famous. However, the fame also brought him trouble: He was disliked by the noblemen in France and was caught into the jail. In the jail, he started to use the name “Voltaire” and produced his first play, Oedipe, in 1718. The play was a huge success and got him more attention. The French aristocracy cannot tolerate the existence of such impact in France anymore. Therefore, they put Voltaire into the jail and subsequently exiled to England in 1726.

Mommy stares at the creature, frozen in shock. You are sure she wants to play peek-a-boo. You cover your eyes, emit a sound that could pass for “peek-a”, then reveal your giggling face while shouting,
While in college, he began writing. Being a free-thinker, his works were bound to stir up controversy, and that they did. He was sent to the Bastille, a French prison, once for eleven months, after a misattributed insult to Phillipe II d’Orléans, where he rewrote the tragedy Œdipe and began the Henriade, a poem about King Henry IV. Voltaire insulted the chevalier de Rohan, who had Voltaire beaten and whose family influence had him sent to the Bastille. Voltaire was finally let out on his promise to leave for England ("Francois Marie"). Not only did Voltaire stir up controversy with French nobles, he also managed to stir up controversy with religion, being a fierce, outspoken critic. He hated theocracy, saying that it was only a way to control the people. Theocracy, or a system of government in which the church is head of state, in Voltaire’s mind, corrupted people, leading them to do despicable things (Eve of the French). In general, Voltaire despised religion. He hated Christianity, hated Judaism, and ranged from calling Islam “a false and barbarous sect” to “a wise, severe, chaste and humane religion” ("Voltaire (Francois-Marie"). More specifically, Voltaire had many feuds throughout his career with the Catholic Church. Through years of letters, pamphlets, and plays, he led other philosophers to attack both church doctrine and clergy. Voltaire repeatedly insulted the clergy on their actions
Scrum is basically a framework for agile development. Scrum is a process that is used most of the time during complex projects in software development. It is also a simple yet affective way to manage work. The strategy in Scrum is to divide members into a team and have them work together to achieve a common goal or project. Scrum provokes communication between the members of the teams. This communication is imperative to the success of the project.

NiSource is one of the biggest natural gas distribution companies in the USA. Company is not responsible for the production of natural gas, but rather purchases fossil fuel at the source and transmits supply thru its pipelines to industries and local costumers. Natural gas can be transported to distribution facilities in two ways: underground gas pipelines or shipped by the sea in LNG tankers. In nature during the extraction, natural gas exists as a gas, which needs to be captured by special pipeline system designed for gathering processes. Captured gas contains water and other impurities that have to be removed in production well. In order to be transported, it needs to be cooled and transformed into liquid, which increases transportation efficiency to processing units and improves transportation cost ratio. Regasification is the process when "wet", liquid natural gas is processed and changed to pipeline quality natural gas. Natural gas needs to be turned back to gas in order to be useful for residential and commercial customers. This process needs to be monitored and measured for quality and content of natural gas due to the risk of pipeline rupture and safety. "Natural gas entering the system that is not within certain specific gravities, pressures, Btu content range, or water content level will cause operational problems, pipeline deterioration, or even cause pipeline rupture."1 Natural gas transported to distributors is called "dry" gas due to the physical state.
