In cases of attitude teenagers have the idea that they are above others, that they know everything and that they are all going in the right direction. They care less about others and keep themselves as their main priority. They act as if no one can touch them, they believe themselves to be invincible and on the top of the world. Even when there are cases that show this is not true it does not change the minds of teens, and if it does it only affects a few. They act or pretend that they are more intelligent than others, as if they have the whole world figured out, than when they find themselves in trouble they do not see where they went wrong.
As attitudes are deteriorating so is the amount of respect teens are showing not only others but themselves. This lack of respect is getting them in trouble left and right; from parents, teachers and law enforcement. Along with the trouble teens are getting in for their lack of respect they are also losing trust from others and the respect that others have once given to them. As they receive little trust and respect from others they begin to ac even more out of place and search for more, they begin to become more outrageous and act out more.
As teenagers revolt against parents, teachers, law enforcement and others there are different ways for acting out and they differ from person to person and from gender to gender. As girls and boys are different anyways they both have their own ways of rebelling more centered on gender. Females may rebel by the way they act, although there are clear dress codes for schools there are may girls willing to push the limits of these codes and wear clothes inappropriate for school. ...ow teens act and the activities they partake in than maybe teens would stop participating. If the media showed more normal sized girls and boys in shows and magazines than teens would stop harming their bodies in hope to gain an unrealistic and unhealthy bodies. If media would begin show teenagers as respectful and an age group to be respected and trusted than maybe teenagers would change their ideas as well.
Teenagers have it easy now-a-days, and there is little attempt to make getting anywhere hard on them, they practically have everything handed to them and once they begin to take it all for advantage they begin to slowly make mistakes. These mistakes are what eventually cause problems in their futures. Parents, schools and communities should work together to show teenagers a more real version of life so they understand that it isn’t all fun and games.
