As we take each day, the human race subconsciously relies on technology. Whether it be by way of transportation, communication, banking, healthcare, security, or education; technology has revolutionized its way into our everyday lives. Laptops, tablets, television screens, projectors, and other digital devices in the classroom are not only convenient to engage students of all ages but are also convenient for teachers; there are more accessible and up-to-date resources online for teaching multiple subjects. Instead of using traditional paper resources, schools across the U.S. can eliminate physical storage dedicated to large books and other classroom materials as well as reasons to cut down trees for paper. Students will not have to tote around heavy, expensive outdated print textbooks to and from school; students can access current curriculum online from any supporting device, such as a personal computer, tablet or laptop issued by the school, or public computer at the library. The use of technology in schools allows students and educators alike to have access to up to date learning material.
