Technology is exploding at an unprecedented rate, gadgets are increasingly powerful, and people are getting smarter by the day. If we examine the behavior of people of a certain age group before the digital revolution and the same age group in today’s technologically advanced world, we observe that people who are equipped with technology and the internet are better-informed and take better decisions. Technology has equipped human beings with potential that no species was ever capable of conceiving. We all seek the benefits of tech. Thanks to its rapid advancement, technology seeks its own benefits; it feeds itself with new innovation to grow exponentially.

Moore's law predicted this decades ago by stating that processors would continue to get twice as capable every 18 months as fabricating more and more transistors on the same silicon wafer become possible. With the exception of electronics, no other trade has shown an exponential growth for such a prolonged period of time.

Initially, technology was adopted to help businesses and as a source of entertainment. However, today technology dictates our lives. Overnight, big "Discman" companies lost millions of dollars of market capital and very soon a huge chunk of market share. The iPod allowed us to listen to any song and liberated us from carrying bulky CDs along with batteries, without compromising quality.The Internet played a vital role in during the nascent stages of the digital revolution. Gone are the days when was difficult to connect with our loved ones who live far away but now we are just a tap-of-a-button away from contacting (potentially) anybody. Shoot! We don't even need to tap now; we can simply say "Ok, Google" or "Hey Siri"!
