There are many scientific explanations and literary accounts for the constellation Taurus. The name comes from the Latin language and translates to “bull.” Taurus is commonly known as “the bull” (“Taurus Constellation”; Wilkinson).
Taurus is also famously known for being the second zodiac sign (“Taurus”). For someone to have Taurus as their zodiac sign, they have to be born on any day from April 20 to May 20 (Birth Dates and Corresponding Sun Signs). People born during this time are said to be very stable and down-to-earth. They are also known to be dependable but also stubborn (“Taurus” About the Bull).
You can see the constellation Taurus most clearly during the evenings in the month of January in the northern sky (Dolan). The latitudes that it can be found between are +90 degrees and -65 degrees. The Bull also has many neighboring constellations. Just some of them are Aries, Auriga, Eridamus, Gemini, Orion, and Perseus. Taurus is the seventeenth largest constellation (“Taurus Constellation”).
Taurus is made from a total of fifteen stars. (Dolan). The largest and most luminous star within this constellation is Aldebaran. This orange-red giant is the thirteenth brightest star known. Aldebaran has a diameter that is more than forty times the diameter of the sun and in addition to that, it shines over four hundred times brighter than the sun. Aldebaran is classified as a Type LB star (“Taurus” Top Astronomer; “Taurus Constellation”).
Within Taurus, you can see many objects within the area of the constellation. Some of these objects are nebulas, stars and star clusters. One object within Taurus is the Crab Nebula, or Messier 1. It is a “pulsar wind nebula, or plerion” (“Taurus Constellation”). The Crab Nebula that i...

A matador is a bullfighter whose task is to kill the bull. Although most may think Matadors are men, there are also many women who have become matadors and are killing bulls for a living as well. The matador wears a ceremonial outfit called traje de luces, or suit of lights and a montera, which is a traditional folk hat. The red cape that the bullfighters wave is a muleta and the sword used to kill the bull is called the estoque. Six bulls are to be killed by three matadors during the bullfight. Each encounter lasts about 15 minutes. The three matadors, each followed by their assistants, the banderilleros and the picadors march into the ring to the accompaniment of traditional march rhythm music. When a bull first comes into the arena out of the bullpen gate, the matador greets it with a series of manoeuvres or passes, with a large cape. Fighting bulls charge instantly at anything that moves because of their natural instinct. Unlike domestic bulls they do not have to be trained to charge nor are they starved or tortured to make them savage. Ticket prices for bullfights can range from just a few euros to over 100 euros, depending on the seating area. Shaded areas (Sombra) happen to be more expensive than sunny ones (Sol). However, the better or more popular fights, and especially those during the San Isidro festival, are often sold-out almost
The Aquarius, or the water bearer, is typically defined by its unpredictability. The deep, complex cave is the first Aquarius symbol because the underground river bears water through itself. Because the cave is so deep and intricate, it’s bound to be unpredictable. Another Aquarius symbol is Beowulf’s ship because, through water, it bears Grendel’s destroyer.
If there is one great constellation, it is the constellation of Gemini. As a Zodiac Constellation, it is only visible during parts of the year. It's two brightest stars, Castor and Pollux, give it the name of the Twins. Anyone born in the end of May until late June is said to have two faces: one of Pollux's and one of Castor's.
Perseus, the twenty-forth largest constellation, is depicted as a man holding a sword in one hand and the head of Medusa in the other. Ptolemy discovered the constellation during the second century. Measuring 28 degrees in length, it lies in the Northern Hemisphere and can be seen best in December around nine o’clock P.M. It can also be seen in the Southern Hemisphere during the summer from latitudes north of negative thirty-five degrees. I have chosen to write about the constellation Cancer (The Crab). I chose Cancer because it is one of only a handful of constellations that I am actually able to identify in the night sky. Cancer is one of the twelve Zodiac constellations; people whose birthdays fall between June 21st and July 22nd have Cancer as their sign. Cancer is the Latin word for crab, and despite the fact that the constellation looks more like a lobster then a crab, it is still referred to as a crab. The constellation is visible from the northern hemisphere from late winter to early spring.
Capricorn is well known for its several notable stars and its globular cluster Messier 30 (A Guide to the Night Sky 1, Kaler 1,Kornmessser 3, Zimmermann 1). “Also, there are five meteor showers associated with Capricornus: the Alpha Capricornids, the Chi Capricornids, the Sigma Capricornids, the Tau Capricornids, and the Capricorniden Sagittarids” (A Guide to the Night Sky 1). Capricorn is the 40th biggest constellation in our galaxy. It is one of the twelve zodiac constellations. “It is in the elliptic zone, which means it can only be seen during specific months of the year”.
At Beltane the Pleiades star cluster rises just before sunrise on the morning horizon. The Pleiades is a cluster of seven closely placed stars, the seven sisters, in the constellation of Taurus, near his shoulder. When looking for the Pleiades with the naked eye, remember it looks like a tiny dipper-shaped pattern of six moderately bright star in the constellation of Taurus. It stands very low in the east-northeast sky for just a few minutes before sunrise.

The Orion Nebula is one of the closest stellar regions to the Earth. Using parallax measurements, it has been estimated that this nebula is only 1,500 light years away. In addition, the Orion Nebula is a relatively young star cluster, with an approximate age of less than one million years. It has even been speculated that some of the younger stars within the cluster are only 300,000 years old.
Have you ever been to a Chinese restaurant that handed you a paper with a bunch of random animals and years on it? Most people will just throw it away and not pay that much attention to it. That little piece of paper contains a basic information about the Chinese Zodiac just enough to get you hooked. There are many people all over the world that very much believe in the ancient Chinese Zodiac. The Chinese Zodiac can be helpful for finding the current Chinese year, what animal people are, and can help make decisions.
The constellation Aquarius is one of the Zodiac signs. It is universally associated with water. The translation is "The Water Bearer". I chose this sign because I really like the ocean and swimming and just water in general. The stars in Aquarius are: Sadalmelik (Alpha Aqr), Sadalsuud (Beta Aqr), Sadalachbia (Gamma Aqr), Skat (Delta Aqr), Albali (Epsilon Aqr), Ancha (Theta Aqr), Situla (Kappa Aqr). Sadalsuud is the brightest star in the constellation.
A Birth Chart and Interpretation or either a Horoscope and compatibility report cannot be accurate for everyone born under a specific Zodiac sign unless the Astrologer has accurate information about the time of birth, date of birth and place of birth. Place of residence is important in the casting of daily Horoscopes. Sometimes the time is not known and an Astrologer will use 12:01 P.M. which, while not as accurate as it should be, will put you as close to the target as possible. Without this information everything you read about your sign anywhere will be generalized information.
