Over time, there have been many remakes of Shakespeare’s works; some of them are bad, while others turn out better than others. The Taming of the Shrew is one of the few that are reenacted quite well. The Taming of the Shrew and the movie 10 Things I hate About You are pretty similar, with few differences between the two. 10 things I hate About You is a film that was released on March 31, 1999 which is based off of the play written by Shakespeare. The film is an updated version with the times to make the fit in modern day society, but the movie is still highly similar to The Taming of the Shrew. The movie and Shakespeare’s play basically have almost all of the same characters, with the exception of a few names. The plot line is really similar
Fairy tale is a story that features folkloric chapters and enchantments, often involving a far-fetching sequence of events. The similarities and differences between “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Pig King” is captivating while still depicting a similar tale. They are similar in the way they find love and their love story but they also share a similar behavior pattern in the way the girls behave towards the prince. However, the two tales do display a difference in the attitudes of the princes and their actions towards their love
In Shakespeare's comedy, The Taming of the Shrew, Shakespeare has a woman as one of the story's main characters. Katherine Minola (Kate) is off the wall, and kinda crazy. Because of her actions, the “male centered world” around her doesn't know what to do with her.
The movie of Of Mice and Men had many differences while still giving the same message that the book was portrayed to have. One of the major differences was that Candy never came into the room when Lennie and Crooks were talking to each other. This was major because Crooks never found out that the plan was true about the little house. In the book after he heard Candy talk about it he wanted to get in on the deal. Taming of the Shrew and 10 Things I Hate About You both have money, attention, and deal with women. Money and attention can change someone's life and how they act drastically. In Taming of the Shrew, Petruchio changed his ways because he was getting paid to give Katherine attention which also changed her into a nicer person and made her think she was less of a shrew. Patrick and Katherine in 10 Things I Hate About You also had similar but still different changes in their life because of money and attention.
10 Things I Hate About You takes William Shakespeare’s classic play, The Taming of the Shrew and manages to make it relevant to a modern audience. The story remains the same with the younger sister, Bianca, not allowed to have a relationship until her older sister, Kat, does. They did maintain several original scenes and even used several direct quotes from the original play. The writers have eliminated some of Bianca’s suitors and changed the way Kat is tamed to appeal to a modern audience. Shakespeare would have agreed with the casting of the movie. This movie may turn Shakespeare’s work into a teen comedy but it maintains many of the elements that made the play such a hit.

In this play, the youngest daughter, Bianca only wants Katherine to get married so that she can as well, which is selfish because Bianca is just trying to get something for herself. In the movie, “10 Things I Hate About You” Bianca asks Kat, her older sister, to begin dating, so that she could go on a date with a guy she liked. These are similar because, in both instances, Bianca wants Katherine to do something, so that Bianca, herself, can gain something from it, which is a self-serving act. The Chronicles of Narnia are veritably the most popular writings of C.S. Lewis. With this in mind, and in the interest of this assignment, the purpose of this paper is an attempt to analyze one of the many doctrines of the Christian faith from The Lion, The Witch, And, The Wardrobe (LWW), namely, temptation and how Lewis illustrates it through an individual character, Edmund.
