People do not understand how much the world will be effected by taking away hunting rights. Hunting helps people gain vital information about the outdoors. Health risk are lowered greatly when wild game is eaten. Many people that live in the middle of nowhere do not have the opportunity to go to town and get the things that they need everyday. By allowing people to hunt it will help maintain the population of wildlife. Americans have the right to bear arms under the second amendment.
Hunting gives people a sense of what the outdoors are like. The outdoors teaches people that they can survive if they get lost. They can learn how to build a fire with the resources that they have. Once they have have the fire started they can cook the meat that they have hunted and killed. Knowing animal tracks will help out when

Animals that are in the wild are not getting pumped full of antibiotics like the animals that are raised on large farms. Animals in the wild are much more active than animals that are kept in feeding barns. Since the animals that are in the wild are more active they tend to be a lot more leaner. When animals are penned up their whole life they can not get out and get the exercise that wild animals get. That is why there is so much fat in store bought meat. Also because of the leaner meat there are a lot less calories in wild game.
For some people hunting for their own meat is a necessity. Hunting wild game is the only way to keep themselves and their family alive. Some people that hunt have no other food source except hunting for their food. If they get their hunting rights taken away from them they will have no food source. They will run out of food and die if their hunting rights get provoked. Many impoverish people rely on hunting to provide for their family. There is a big difference between the price of wild game and the price of store bought meat. That is why many people prefer to hunt for their own
When a Minnesota dentist killed a prized African lion named "Cecil" he received an onslaught of criticism and reignited the debate concerning big game hunting. Is big game hunting wrong? Should big game hunting continue? Big game hunting has been a very controversial topic for some time and these types of questions are being asked daily. There are a lot of people for it and a lot of people against it. This issue causes a lot of extreme behaviors and ideas by both sides. Those who oppose it believe it to be morally wrong, unfair to the animals and damaging to the environment. Those individuals for it believe that it is the citizens' rights and a way to be involved in the environment. Hunting is the law and shall not be infringed upon. In defense of the hunters' I believe that there are five main issues of concern.
This nation was built on the right to bear arms, but this freedom is more controversial than ever. With all the school shootings and gun violence in America today at some point it may seem that just too take away all guns may be the answer to this problem. In defense, this is not the answer. If someone wants to commit a crime, gun laws will not stop them from obtaining the weapon. It is like a drug. Drugs are illegal, but every day you see someone either with, on, or recovering from a drug habit. What about for defense right to own guns to protect your family if part of your constitutional rights. Rights that are supposed to be unalienable rights. Although in this day in time, they are always trying to take away guns either by trying to pass laws or taxing guns and ammo which almost makes guns unaffordable for middle class normal American families.
Since the European colonization of eastern Africa, big game hunting, also know as "trophy hunting", has been a very controversial topic. During the early days of trophy hunting, dwindling numbers of some of the world’s most unique and prized wildlife was not a problem like it is today. When a trophy hunting dentist from Minnesota paid $55,000 to kill a prized African lion, he unintentionally reignited the heated debate concerning big game hunting. Wildlife conservationists and hunters debate the impact of hunting on the economy and the environment. Legal hunting can be controlled without government intervention, and the expensive sport of trophy hunting could generate a large sum of money to support conservation efforts.
Reasons many are wanting to ban firearms are that the 2nd amendment is outdated and unjustified at this date and time. Writer Eugene Robinson states that “farmers wrote of “arms,” thinking about muskets and single shot pistols. They could not have foreseen modern rifles or high-capacity magazines.” Many agree with Mr. Robinson saying that back when the constitution was written they couldn’t have understood what was going to come in the future. Citizens also believe people have no reason to fight against intruders that come into their home; that’s what the authorities are for.
Gun control has been a controversial issue for many years. A vast majority of citizens believe that if gun control is strictly enforced it would quickly reduce the threat of crime. Many innocent people feel they have the right to bear arms for protection, or even just the pleasure of hunting. Americans have a constitutional right to own hand guns and stricter laws and licensing will not affectively save lives.
From the perspective of economy, ecology, and environmental conservation, hunting is very important. Hunting is necessary to protect agriculture and the environment from animal pest or overpopulation. For example, wild boars tear up many farmers land causing many problems as well with the deer population growing eating away farmer’s resources. Also with the growth of white tail deer are damaging every landscape east of the Mississippi river. Unfortunately, the harm is very overlooked, and accepted as somehow “natural”. Over the last 30 years higher dear populations have made a more negative impact due to climate change. (“Is Hunting a Good Thing?”) Hunting was legalized in 1993 to help bring overabundant wild animal populations down. The legalization
While regulations protect individuals rights, hunting is a justifiable practice in the eyes of the
In early civilizations hunting was a necessity for human survival, the dead animals would be sometimes worshiped for religion even. Now modern humans no longer have to hunt for survival, because people now have more opportunities for subsistence that the people back then did not have. People who do not have access to a grocery store could possibly grow plants as an alternative to hunting. Hunting should be illegal in New York State, because it is cruel to animals, unnecessary and morally wrong.
Introduction: Recreational hunting is a legally practiced activity in all states of Australia, and is defined as pursuit and kill of animals for food or fun (Britannica Dictionary 2017). However, this definition does not encompass other established motivations such as conservation and pest management (Finch et al. 2014). Hunting has been a part of the Australian culture since pre-history, and in present times, was necessary for survival (Bengsen 2016; Finch et al. 2014). The perceived need to seek and kill food for oneself is commonly perceived as outdated and unnecessary largely due to the convenience of supermarkets and butchers (Dizard 1999), while the realities of meat production go unnoticed.
If the right to own guns is taken away, then people will not be able to go hunting. Without hunting, animals would start to over populate because the majority of wild animals are killed by hunters. Taking away guns would take away the hobby of almost 14 million people that never did anything wrong. If guns were taken away and there was nothing to hunt with, the government would lose nearly 25 billion dollars and nearly 575,000 jobs would be lost. Taking away guns from American citizens
Nowadays, hunting is known as a kind of sports usually joined in by the rich. First of all, hunting contributes to sufficient food source. Despite achievements attained in farming and livestock, there are
The New Generation Hunting is neither ethical nor practical. “ [It] is about connecting with the world and our friends. It’s where stories are made and legends created.” This is a quote from a New Hampshire magazine.
Hunting is a valuable aspect of American society. In 2011, 13.7 million Americans participated in hunting (“National Survey”). Which confirms numerous individuals care about this activity. Indigenous groups hunted to provide nourishment, protection, and clothing for their tribes. “Throughout history, hunters have regarded the pursuit of game as a rite of passage to manhood” (Worsnop).
Driscoll and Morely Explain “The reward for humans is a truly free range, organic meat, the healthiest and most natural of diets.” Additionally, studies have shown that meat gained through hunting is more nutritious than store-bought meat and is less likely to cause food poisoning, imbalanced hormones, and cancer, due to its lack of steroids antibiotics and
Hunting to survive has been a basic instinct and a way of life since the time of man. Hunting animals to gather meat and food, using their hides for clothing and even building houses with them and in some countries using it as a ceremony to pass into manhood. Hunting animals was necessary in the lives of humans to feed families and it also helped the environment. But now there is no need for hunting since the advancement of time, we have farmers who raise pigs, cows and chickens for our needs and food. We have farmers who use sheep and other plants to bring in wool and cotton for clothing and such.
