The Surveyor 3 television camera landed on the Moon as part of the Surveyor 3 mission on April 20, 1967 November 24, 1969, the crew of Apollo 12 carried the camera back to Earth. Launch Date: 1967-04-1, Launch, Vehicle: Atlas-Centaur,Launch Site: Cape Canaveral, United States,Mass: 296.0 kg. There were some alternate names for Surveyor 3 Television which were Surveyor-C and 02756. The Funding Agency was the NASA-Office of Space Science Applications (United States). Surveyor 3 was the second spacecraft of the Surveyor series to achieve a lunar soft landing. The primary objectives of the Surveyor program, a series of seven robotic lunar soft landing flights, were to support the coming crewed Apollo landings by: (1) developing and validating the
technology for landing softly on the Moon; (2) providing data on the compatibility of the Apollo design with conditions encountered on the lunar surface; and (3) adding to the scientific knowledge of the Moon. The specific objectives for this mission were to: (1) perform a soft landing on the Moon within the Apollo zone and east of the Surveyor 1 landing site; (2) obtain post landing television pictures of the lunar surface; (3) obtain information on lunar-surface bearing strength, radar reflectivity, and thermal properties; and (4) use the surface sampler to manipulate the lunar surface and observe the effects with the television camera.

Woop woop! Is the common sound heard in Beecher Terrace (housing apartments). There are 2.3 million people locked up in the United States. Kentucky spends about fifteen billion dollars per year incarcerating individuals from Beecher Terrace. Since the 1970’s the number of people locked up in the United States has grown from 300,000 to 2.3 million. Kentucky has been the center of this prison expansion. Charles McDuffie, Christel, Demetria, and Keith Huff all have something in common. Each of these individuals are repeat offenders, grew up or lived in Beech Terrace, and have some type of mental issue.
The emerald jewel of Brooklyn, Prospect Park is often called the borough’s backyard and has been a serene and idyllic retreat for Brooklynites for well over a century now. In fact, the park recently celebrated its 150th anniversary with great fanfare, attesting its historic importance and role it’s played in city life for generations. Few people, however, know the true history of the park, such as its connection to Central Park and the role it played in the development of Brooklyn real estate in the late 19th century. To that end, here’s a quick look at the hidden history of Prospect Park and the key role it’s played in the city’s history over the years.
On July 20, 1969 Neil Armstrong planted the first human footprints in the lunar soil. The United States had accomplished their goal in sending men to the moon. They managed to not only send them 238,857 mi. (384,403 km) into space to our neighbor celestial body, but also send them back with a successful flight to our mother earth. This seems like a difficult task for a country that was behind Russia in space exploration at the time.
The first step is to pre-register the patient's insurance information into the computer system and making a copy of their insurance cards. The patient's insurance information would then be verified. The patient would then be seen by a medical professional to examine the patient, discuss any test results or provide a diagnosis. Once the patient is ready to check out any payment due would be collected. The medical coder would then go over the patients' medical record and assign any diagnosis codes or procedural codes and then a claim form (CMS 1500) would be completed and submitted. The payment would also receive and posted at this time and document in the patient's record. The CMS 1500 will information from the patient, including the type of
According to what I read in the textbook, the CMS 1500 form is divided in two considerable parts: 1- Patient and Insured Information, which you can find in locators 1 through 13; and 2- Physician or Supplier Information, which you can find in locators 14 through 33. But this form can be divided in three sections as well: 1-Demography (from locators 1 through 13), 2- Procedural and diagnostic information (from locators 14 through 24) and 3- The technical part (from locators 25 through 33).
...first launch that had been attended by a former U.S. president, Richard Nixon. Astronauts Charles Conrad Jr., Alan L. Bean, and Richard F. Gordon Jr., were all chosen to complete this mission. Conrad, Bean, and Gordon achieved a precise landing at their expected location on November 19, 1969. During this mission, the crew carried the first color television camera to the moon’s surface, but transmission from this camera was lost after Alan Bean accidentally pointed it at the Sun which destroyed the camera. The mission objectives were selenological inspection, surveys and samplings in the landing areas, development of techniques for precision-landing capabilities, further evaluate the human capability to work in the lunar environment for a long period of time, and photography of potential exploration sites for future missions. All mission objectives were successful.
The St.Lawerence Lowlands region consists of two parts St.Lawerence Lowlands and great lakes. The parts are separated by a thin wedge of the Canadian Shield, this thin wedge is just across the St.Lawerence river and extends to the United States near Kingston Ontario. These Lowlands have bedrock formed of sedimentary rock, the bedrock can be seen in several escarpments in the Great Lakes Lowlands. The best known is the Niagara escarpment which extends from Niagara to Manitoulin Island, the Great Lakes landscape is characterized by flat plains with glacial hills and deep rivers and valleys. The Lowlands was formed by faulting which caused a rift valley, the valley was flooded with water close to the end of the last ice age by part of the Atlantic
Texas is an amazing state with a lot of history behind it, and amazing people and places within it. Most everyone knows that Austin, Texas is the capital of the state, but most do not know that West Columbia was actually the first capital of Texas. West Columbia lies within the amazing historical county of Brazoria. Texas is also the home of the historical Jones Creek, where the great Stephen F. Austin lived, which also lies in Brazoria County.

Hiram Revels was born on September 27, 1827 in Fayetteville, NC. Unlike the majority of African Americans in the south, Hiram was born to free parents. His father worked as a Baptist preacher and his mother was of Scottish descent. Because of his Scottage background he was believed to be mixed with African and Croatan Indian lineage. In a time when teaching African Americans was illegal, Revels had an opportunity to attend a school taught by a black women. His older brother Elias Revels owned a barbershop, which he inherited upon his sibling’s death. Two years later he left to continue his education and to obtain a job.
Sometime during the evening of February 17th, 1865, a fire broke out in the city of Columbia, South Carolina, causing the destruction of a third of its infrastructure and residence, leaving thousands homeless and penniless. One might ask, what was the cause of this massive inferno, which produced such great devastation? That resolve is neither easy nor straightforward, but a few theories do exist. Perhaps, none greater than the suggestion that General William T. Sherman and his occupying forces deliberately burned “it” to the ground. This topic has been debated time and time again with no clear “order” given. If such an order were given, it would show that Sherman’s plan all along was to destroy the birthplace of succession and teach southerners
The history of the land-grant colleges and how these colleges were established in the United States of America is very interesting. After I reviewed many historical resources, I found that the increase of population after the Civil War who needed education to improve their standard of living was a huge issue. It has had an impact on the modern land-grant university. The increase of population was a result of giving the slaves their freedom in some states. In my point of view, I believe that inequality between all the citizen was the most important issue in the history of Land-grant University. The purpose of this paper is to provide brief historical context about the equality of all citizens and explain how they got the same rights
Unified land operations are part of the Army's war fighting doctrine. It explains how the Army seizes, retains, and exploits the initiative to gain or maintain a position of relative advantage in land operations through offensive, defensive, and stability operations simultaneously. This is used in order to prevent conflict. In comparison; Mission command is the exercise of authority and direction by the commander using mission orders to enable disciplined initiative within the commander’s intent to empower adaptive leaders in the conduct of unified land operations.
47 million km of the sun. (1) The Luna II and III space probes landed on the surface of the moon and took the first photos of the far side of the moon in 1959. Another space probe called the Pathfinder was launched on December 4, 1996 and made a successful landing on Mars in July of 1997. Other space probes to reach Mars include the Mars Pathfinder and the Mars Global Surveyor. A few other past space probes include the Voyager II, which is the only space probe to reach Uranus, The Venera VII, which was the first space probe to
