Kiarash Behravan Sherene H. Razack’s article The Murder of Pamela George introduces the idea of colonial violence within a spatialized justice system by exploring the trial of a murder of a native woman who worked as a prostitute. Razack uses a useful case to present her case on this matter but her unnoticed paradigm becomes an issue. She begins by giving factors which have contributed to masking the violence against George. Some of the factors dismiss the colonial violence topic and focuses on other ideas such as the dangers of being a prostitute and how it causes violence.
