Value of strategic intelligence applied to decision makers In decision makers, the strategic intelligence is identified to lead to better information, the effective decisions making so as to help the national policy to gaining markets share and also to compete successfully against both the local and international competitors. The strategic intelligence is a collective thus providing efficient information input to the decision makers. In a point of view, the strategic intelligence is not applied in all levels of decision making. The responsibility of strategic intelligence values to the decision makers is that the growing portion of the managers applies the strategic intelligence in their entire strategic planning along decision making. This is because the collection of the activities is actually done in single source intelligence level. In the single source level (SS) the processing steps consist of the activities like evaluation, analysis, interpretation and collation steps. This step transforms collected raw data to single source intelligence. According to integrate study, collation corresponds to receiving, recording and grouping of the data while evaluation process entails assessing the reliability of collated and evaluated information for significant facts. The activity of interpretation is therefore a mental process which entails both comparisons and deductions which are based on common sense, the military knowledge of adversary, life experiences and friendly forces along an existing information and

Due to the unique nature of the intelligence field, error of judgments can (and has) had catastrophic consequences. These errors are a result of complex decision making processes involved in the generation of intelligence products, affected by not only training and expertise, but by cognitive factors, particularly bias. The aim of this paper is to identify two different models of decision making (bounded rationality and intuitive decision making), the biases found in both models that affect the final intelligence product, and how these biases can be mitigated in order to avoid intelligence failures or minimise their impact.
The DIA started in 1958. The organizational structure of the DoD and U.S. foreign intelligence came to a new shape with the establishment of DIA. It was Robert McNamara, then Secretary of Defense, who came up with the concept of DIA in 1961. DIA gathers human source intelligence, analyzes technical intelligence, distributes intelligence/reports to the intelligence agencies, provides advice and support to the Joint Chiefs of Staff with foreign military intelligence, and provides military intelligence to combatant commands as its operational functions. A DIA director is supposed to be a three-star military general and DIA is believed to have employed at least 7,500 staff worldwide today. The DIA is a defense intelligence agency that prevents strategic surprises and delivers a decision advantage to warfighters, defense planners, and to policymakers. This paper will try to evaluate DIA’s role in US national security in present condition of massive budget deficits and increased congressional oversight, plus the intelligence capabilities of the Regional Combatant Commanders and the individual services like CIA and NSA.
Along with the rapid development of economy and society, the companies have to own skills to adapt, cater, and transfer new knowledge, and try to modify their activities to reflect insights. Strategic management evolves
Homeland security entities are proactive in the fight against terrorism on American soil. Their mandate is to collect information relating to potential attacks and analyze it to find a solution to the danger. With this in mind, these entities employ numerous spying techniques to collect intelligence for safeguarding of the nation. Homeland security entities have spies in almost all the countries in the world, especially those that show aggression towards America. The main aim of these spies is to carry out espionage to determine threat levels and find ways of neutralizing threats (Randol, 2009). This involves deployment of secret agents to areas or countries that exhibit terrorism activity in a bid to collect information. The spies interact with local people and members of terrorist groups using aliases that enable them conceal their identities.

The National Counterintelligence (CI) Strategy frames, key priorities for the U.S. government, consist of five objectives the Counterintelligence community must accomplish. The five objects consist of: identify, detect, exploit, disrupt and neutralize Foreign Intelligence Entity (FIE) and the insider threats. Further, the CI community must safeguard the United States interests, to include American interest abroad and cyberspace. 1 Additionally, the CI community must be able to identify key indicators of FIE intentions, targeting, capabilities, and assets available. Identifying those criteria the intelligence community will gain an understanding of the threat.
The reason I chose to do my project on a game that can hit all three areas safety, health, and nutrition, is because all three areas are important to children and their families. As a parent I can easily justify the role a teacher has on the lives of our children. It is usually a parent does not know anything and the teacher is always right. In the eye’s of a child.
This indicates the importance of strategic management for organisations in making appropriate decisions and selecting strategies which will assist them to gain strategic competitiveness and as a result earn above-average returns.
Strategic planning has a focus on stabilizing the current environment, and it also support the organization's business plans and goals. Strategic planning helps to implement new projects, new technology, consolidation of data centers, data warehouses, exponential data growth, cost of ownership, and resources available in an organization to assess the future requirements. Strategic planning analyzes the business plan, potential blockage or other issues in the current architecture, processes and their implementation in new initiatives, and processes. Strategic planning helps to formulate the ideas about the key factors that are affecting the present and future development of the organization and the opportunities offered by the environment and the competence of the organization.
Strategic management is a disciplined effort or control to make necessary decisions that have an effect on a business or an organization; the aim of strategic management is mainly to develop new, innovative or diverse ideas and opportunities for potential or development, and facilitates or assists an organization to achieve its goals (SM, 2010). In reality, strategic management not only can be used or applied to determine mission, vision and values or objectives, but it also establishes roles and responsibilities or timelines in a business (David, 2009). In the following sections, this study will focus on and examine the nature of strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation activities, and analyze the potential pitfalls or risks in using a strategic-management approach to decision making.
Strategic management has shown to enhance the company’s profits and market shares. Companies need to utilize strategic management in order to improve that their performance and organizations are set. Some of the benefits of strategic management are it brings new opportunities and development, the manager is more involved in their job role, the quality of the company is enhanced, implementing models that will bring the company growth and profits, it helps the manager to be organized in order for them to be successful, it brings certainty to the company, and provides management with a guide to what the company is needing to accomplish with their goals for the future. According to Nmadu (2007) he stated “strategic management has become more important to managers in recent years and defining the mission of their organization in specific terms have made it easier for managers to give their organization a sense of purpose” (Dauda, Akingbade, and Akinlabi, 2010, p.100). Strategic management can also have its disadvantages. A few disadvantages are time and effort that is put into the company, and discussing what is important for the company’s long-term goals. Another disadvantage is managers stay on the planning stage but forget to implement and take control of the plan. If strategic management is not enforced than this can cause effects on the companies market shares, and profitability. Enforcing a strategic plan will play a major role in the companies
