Losing a degree was not only the end of Stacy Snyder teaching dream, but was also the beginning of a lengthy legal battle. One of the contributing reason of her dismissal from campus and teaching assignment was, because of a photo she had posted on her MySpace account. Picture was not only the single factor which played a role to deny her college degree, however it was also a poor evaluation regarding her professionalism in the classroom. Nevertheless, not knowing of privacy setting on social network had played an immense role in this particular incident. Photo posted on Stacy Snyder’s MySpace account was the primary reason for University to deny her college degree. The photo which Millersville University of Pennsylvania, accused Snyder of promoting underage drinking was discovered on her MySpace account, where she had posted a photo of cocktail with the accompanying note, “Drunken pirate.” As per Snyder law sued, she claim the photo as freedom of speech right. After reviewing a twenty-eight long pages of judge discussion in the linked pdf, it clearly shows that she had a problem with discipline and content. As per J. Berry Grivin, a Millersville University supervising teacher, there was a noticeable difficulty with Snyder regarding maintaining a formal teaching manner on evaluation period. There was also “Many time she have ignored of basic grammar, punctuation, spelling and usage.” On judge finding, supervisor further stated that, because of her poor understanding of subject several occasions she would “Make up an answer” or “Give the wrong answer.” Not only that, despite giving many warning not to share her personal life with students, “On several occasion, she informed the class that she had a MySpace webpage,” which crossed in to
