Arachnid Man is an anecdotal superhero showing up in American comic books distributed by Marvel Comics. Made by author supervisor Stan Lee and essayist craftsman Steve Ditko, Spider-Man initially showed up in Amazing Fantasy #15 (Aug. 1962). Lee and Ditko imagined the character as a vagrant being raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben, and as a young person, needing to manage the ordinary battles of puberty notwithstanding those of a costumed wrongdoing contender.
