Social work is a caring profession that requires an empathetic approach and understanding of individual needs, and concern is an important part of being able to help clients, make the appropriate decisions for their well-being. I never knew this was a quality I had until I interned at the Roanoke Rescue Mission, and had to handle plenty of stressful situations.
