Social Media Antagonizers Should Be Prosecuted

Can victims of bullying find comfort in his/her own home? Children who were victims of bullying could find comfort in their own homes at the end of the day, but, as in source one, because of new technology cyberbullying has become an enormous issue. Some say as in source two, how can one be prosecuted for hurting another person’s feelings? I think you should treat others as you would want to be treated. Furthermore, cyberbullying has become a big issue, should the bullies be prosecuted? In my opinion, social media antagonizers should be prosecuted. Why?
According to source 3 cyberbullying means “willful and repeated harm inflicted through the use of computers, cell phones and other electronic devices”. Some may think posting a funny or embarrassing photo of someone is hilarious,but, others see this as a form bullying. Many kids may not think of this as a form of bullying, especially the offender ,but no one knows what can happen from sending one insulting or degrading message to someone. It can cause more kids to join in on the bullying. It can even lead to harassment to become physical. Did you know? So, imagine a child in front of his or her computer and an unknown message pops up, they open the window and it’s a degrading and insulting message towards them. They try and ignore it but the messages, then,become continuous. The messages start picking on their insecurities. As previously stated and in source two, some may argue how can you be charged for hurting someone’s feelings even in real life never justified criminal prosecution, however, research shows kids who have low self-esteem are more apt to cause self-harm and commit or attempt
