The way I came up with the demographic description from the class, I looked over every single discussion boards, and What I came to find out is that, we have nineteen females in the class including my self , and nine males. The way I searched through the discussion board was by making an outline for my self on a piece of paper, I divided the paper by age, gender, religion, children, likes, racial, and what state people are living in.
The most categories were the easiest to determine which were gender, children, and state they lived in. It was easy for me, because when I was searching through all of the discussion boards, I came across to researching about my classmates introduction, and the things that was being stated in there discussion boards, which some of my classmates, already posted about how many children that they have and children’s age. A few other of my classmates stated that they were living in CA, which it was very common with my classmates. The furthest state that I have reviewed from one my following class mates, that

It is important to know your classmates likes, and the education level that they are in. I have observed my audience and got to know them by reviewing what people comment on each other posts, and discussed similar situations or even things that people are doing as there career lifestyle, for example I noticed that most of my class mates are in the military, army, navy, and fighting for our country. I also noticed that not only my classmates are in the base, but there spouses or boyfriend, girlfriend are in the base. Some other my classmates are going to be graduating this year, or they just started brandman. It was nice to observed my audience about the career path they chose for themselves, I was very intrigued by the stories that my fellow classmates that
They will want to know both employment rates as well as types of employment. They should look at marital status, median age, and household size. Customer lifestyles and preferences are another important aspect of gathering demographic information. Hobbies and activities popular among customers in this area should be examined. Do they enjoy active, outdoor activities, or do they typically prefer indoor activities such as going to the movies and shopping at malls?
Each of us then interviewed one to two students at our school and then put the data into a Google form. Afterwards, we looked at the summary of the data in charts and got a better idea of who we interviewed, the things they were associated with, and where they felt the most affected by stereotype threats. Then we sorted the summary data chart by race and gender to see similarities or differences in each race or gender group. When my class then did some research about stereotypes by interviewing students at our school, we ended up interviewing 165 students. 79% of the people were in 9th grade, the rest made up evenly of 10th, 11th, and 12th graders....

Demographics: The audience is demographically characterized as having both male and female Michigan State University students within the age group of 17 and 24. As well as being ethnically diverse. As a result, I think that the demographic of the audience will have great influence on the speech. Both the audience and myself fall in the same demographic group, which allows me to have a connection with the audience. Making it easier to make my point.
While this seems like a lot of work, the rubric we were given included the specific pieces and parts of each segment (demographics, psychographics, behavioral and geographics) which broke the segments down in a easy-to-understand manner. The customer analysis needed to be shown through words so we typed out each portion with word art and cut them out, glueing them in an organized fashion with demographics in one corner, while psychographics were neatly organized in another.
When I debate public forum style, I have to be quick on my feet and make split-second decisions. If I impulsively blurt out a wrong or inconsistent fact, I can lose the entire round based off that statement alone. If I lose focus even for a second and am not present in that moment, I can hurt not only myself, but also my partner since we debate as a team. On the other hand, if I make the right decisions and have razor-like precision with my arguments and refutations, my partner and I will likely achieve victory. My debate journey, in a real sense, mirrors my path to coming of age. I began debate in sixth grade as a shy, awkward eleven year old. The huge volume of research and the thought of speaking
The third group is the normal group, they are usually typical college students attending their scheduled classes, getting the homework assignments done and turned in on time. The normal group is usually mothers/fathers that have hired baby sitters to watch their son(s)/daughter(s) while they attend the college they are enrolled in. They spend their recreation time studying, exercising, having fun with their friends, spending time with family, or simply offering their time to give back to their community.
Major demographic changes happened from the 1960’s through the 2000’s, according to Charles Hill, “As of the late 1960’s four major facts described the demographics: first, U.S. dominance in the world economy and in the trade picture. Second, U.S. dominance in foreign direct investment (FDI). Third, U.S. dominance of large, multinational firms on the international business scene. Fourth, roughly half of the globe were centrally planned economies of the communist world (not surprising they failed so miserably), and was off-limits to western international business.” (2013, p. 16)
One of the ways in which to determine which stage in the Demographic Transition Model a country is in is by the birth rate of the country, Italy is country (a) and the United States is country (b). In country (a) there is a very low birth rate. Italian women are opting to have children later in life and not wanting to have large families, this comes as a result of the hardships of making enough money to support a child. It is a lot more difficult for women to establish a strong monetary foundation at a semi-early age and as a result they are having children much later in life compared to previous life trends. The amount of children that have been born recently compared to years prior has dropped by 70%, the result of this change results in the birth rate being below the replacement rate. In country (b) there is also a decline in having children at an early age, “boomers” have also begun to have children at a later point in their lives.
I think high school students are a great way to foster change in our communities and families. I was able to work as a youth instructor for a wide variety of people. A goal for the whole team that I believe is truly important is creating a safe environment for the students, that way they can voice their opinions, and freely talk to mentors about whatever is on their mind. Looking at the statement of need, a goal that we will focus on is getting students in the program on the right track, advocate them that if they want to go to college then grades are crucial. Lots of students don't start worrying about college or grades until their senior year, and one of our goals is to make sure they know that it starts now, sophomores still have time to pick it up, whereas juniors have to really stay focused. I want to accomplish the goals by having various workshops, talks with the students, and going over their career goals and advising them on how to get to get prepared for life after
The first factor that affects the human population is Fertility, i.e., number of children born. (Brain, 2013, page100).In 1951, the sex ratio of India (number of males per 100 females) was estimated to be 105 to 108 due to the male favoured society at birth and high female feticide. The sex ratio increases to a faster rate for urban areas than rural areas. (Sanyal S.K., 1985, page1130). Fertility varies from socioeconomic groups, more educated are supposed to have less children, thus, less urban population of rural areas than urban areas and it also varies by religion, in India there is an evidence that there is high fertility rate among Muslims than any other major religion. However, fertility differentials occur to the account of differences
The ageing population is a phenomenon that most of developed nations struggle in recent decades. The purpose of this paper is to identify the meaning of the ageing population and analysis the impacts that it could have on society. Population ageing happens when the average age of an area growths due to increasing longevity and declining birth rates. Also, another factor that affect proportion of ageing population, especially in Australia, is baby booming. The phrase Baby boomers refers to people who born during the demographic post World War II between the years 1946 and 1964 and more than 4 million Australians were born during that 6 years. The percentage of Australia’s population aged over 65 years has increased 5 per cent from
Over the last semester I have learned many things about myself. I have learned that no matter what anyone says I am a strong young woman that can take anything life throws at me. I have also learned a lot about myself as a person and that there is a lot more to the world then just where I grew up. I have also learned that going to a smaller school in high school was a blessing but also was bad for me in many different ways. Through this semester I have learned what my strengths and weaknesses are and how to deal with them. I have learned that some of my strengths are also weaknesses in some way and that to deal with them I must first know what they are. I have also learned what my values are and that sometimes your values change with the things you do. You should also not just settle for things that go against you values. Along with learning what my values are I learned how my personality affects my values. I so the fact that I have more of an internal happy personality affects my values because one of the top values that I have is that I have friends. This relates to the fact that my work interests are more because where I work after college must be a place where I am able to work with people. I am a very socially active person so where ever I work ...
