Soccer is an exhilarating sport,
A popular game played throughout the world,
Anyone can play, no matter how short
To achieve victory points must be furled
With the ball being kicked from end to end,
The composed looks on the players faces
As the ball soars the sky from friend to friend
The ball lands and the athletes start to race,
The swifter player reaches and strikes first
As the ball starts flying towards the net,
The goalie’s hands miss the ball as he cursed,
The team cheers as they are covered in sweat
Soccer is the sport that I so admired,
To play my whole life was all I desired

Contact sports in America, like football and boxing, carry a rich history of the spirit of the game, and the feeling of victory. These games bring us together as we cry out and cheer for our team or fighter as they deliver the winning touchdown, or the knockout that brings them the undisputed champion belt. However, these players are facing injuries that can destroy their career and affect their brain for the rest of their lives. We shouldn’t outlaw contact sports, but we should force safety to become more important. If we want to keep our players safe and continue the tradition of the contact sports we enjoy as a country, then we must evolve our safety in sports, and change the way we view contact sports as a country.
We live in a global world dedicated to majority of American sports. Basketball, baseball, football, and hockey are mostly American sports. On the other hand, soccer is played worldwide and is considered a global sport. If Americans learn to speak the soccer language, they are learning to speak a universal language. Soccer is a starting place to stray away from the normal English, local language. The soccer language is the start to building a bridge with different nationalities, countries, and cultures. America needs to break the ice with other cultures and stop believing the American Culture is “superior” to others. Learning the soccer language will make Americans
Soccer is a very easily understood and exciting sport. A soccer game can change in a matter of 30 seconds. When in a football game it can take some time. Soccer is an easily likable sport and it is easily understood. Soccer is more exciting than any other sport as there are no boundaries on what you could do. The only boundary is fouling and that you can’t use your hands.
Our book defines a group as a collection of people who are perceived to bond together in a coherent unit to some degree (Baron 241). Making a decision isn’t always easy depending on how many people are in the group and if there is any conflict within the group. The basic aspects of a group include roles, status, norms and cohesiveness but when viewing my soccer team I see only certain obvious aspects being present. When thinking about the process in which we, as a group have to make the decision of where to stop for food after an away game, it is obvious that many theories and/or topics can be applied. These theories or topics include evaluation apprehension, social decision schemas, authentic dissent and conflict. The four subjects listed above help explain how a group can come to a decision together.

Every team looks for a player that moves the ball, and that creates plays to score. This means a person that pass the ball through the entire game. To pass the ball in a proper way is one of the main skills a player needs to play soccer. Passing the ball, keeps the game going. Without being able to pass the ball accurately to your teammates, more than likely your team won’t be able to score a goal. The key for passing is to keep things simple. This means passing the ball to your nearest teammate that is not marked by an opponent.
